No, I'm not, largely because I don't troll.

The original argument was why should something the value of a destroyer be able to kill something the value of a Hulk with a suicide gank. A suicide kill in high sec, yes, involves CONCORD. The argument SEEMS to be if you get in range for whatever reason in a BC and get a shot off on a carrier you ARENT gonna kill it like you can with a Destroyer vs a Hulk. One shot you get. Vs CONCORD or vs whatever is defending the carrier.
…and the counter argument is that you most certainly can kill a carrier in a BC the way you can kill a Hulk in a destroyer: by attacking a target that is clueless and/or poorly fitted. A Hulk that is properly fitted cannot be killed with a destroyer, just like how a Carrier that is properly fitted cannot be killed by a BC. In both cases, killing the target before the defenders show up is a very critical factor in determining the viability of the kill.

So: Destoyer vs. Hulk = dead destroyer. BC vs. Carrier = dead BC. In both cases, however, no amount of ship cost will save the larger/more expensive ship from suffering a humiliating defeat should it be foolishly or poorly fitted. This is as it should be, because cost is not a factor in balance and does not determine performance against some generic other ship.

Why DONT they gank the mission runners?
Fun fact: they do.

Or better yet (given resists and all) Incursion runners. The Incursion rats are all the same resists right?
Because Incursions require ships to fit a large-buffer omnitank (and they're backed up by logis and tank-boosting command ships and fleet bonuses) — just what the doctor ordered to hold back a gank. That's why the incursion ganks have had to rely on CONCORD reversal and aggression-cascade strategies to kill their targets.

Also, no, incursion Sansha rats deal omni damage.
