I agree, but does it have to be that way? What would you rather do? Try to make isk so you can PVP or just have fun with PVP tournament / gladiatorial style, like unreal and wolfenstein but on a massive scale and with spaceships. I would definitely pay 14.99 for a pure pvp server. No markets, no miners no crap like titans, pos management, pi and supercarriers etc etc.

People who like PI only do it because of the ISK that it generates otherwise it's a pretty crappy version of sim city and not fun.
PVP IS fun and it's the best part for me at least of the sandbox experience, ship fitting and pvp are all I care about.

TQ is too much of a hassle for a casual gamer like me.

I cannot possibly think of a game that sounds less interesting to me than what you are describing here.

But PVP is right up your alley ... because EVE PVP is such a casual-friendly experience?

I must admit, this is some nice bait you've laid out for 8 pages.

Not really. I'm here because I live science fiction and space themes. If you want thieving, go live in a ghetto - there's plenty of them after all.

I don't speak on English, on it I write through the translator.

In 6 years in Eve I several times remained in general without isk.
Several times me killed in the Empire and 0.0 on some ккк isk.
And each time I felt bitterness of loss extracted many hours of game in Eve.
But each time I rose, I studied.
That doesn't kill that, does you stronger.

Me killed, I learned to kill.
Me deceived, I learned to deceive.
Now I have claims, the fighting ships and skills allowing me to extract any quantity of isk in game what I will wish.
In any way to what I will wish.
Fan Must Go On...

Mars Theran is a pity to me, it is really a pity.
I want that you would understand to Eve is a game.
In total that in it occurs is a game.
And while you play it and receive the fan, everything is remarkable.
Smile

P.S.

Mars Theran I dare to assure you, from personal experience, to lose a little ккк isk being the killed by the ship and to lose a little ккк isk being deceived in the market, this same.
It is sick.
If you can't recover, after such blow and receives the fan from game, in it there is no fault of game or the one who killed you.
Understand it.

I despise people who scam but with this post, you earned my respect. Sadly, many people take the game way too seriously at times.
That being said, to the OP: In case you are planning to quit the game, remember that your char may be worth billions, and leaving it solely over a billion would be ridiculous especially if you have enjoyed playing it prior to the scam.

Ok, I'm better I managed to scrape together some ISK from missions, sold some crap I never use and bought my plex.

I have 10 million ISK now, I will wait until "inflation wars" are done so I don't have to grind as much in missions for the same item.

Plex use to be 300 million, now it's overpriced, well everything is overpriced.

I will return when things settle back down a bit.

Nope. No rules were broken. Think about it rationally for a moment and you'll realize that you were the victim of your own greed, and nothing else.

Eve is an evil game, and Turizmo, the guy who brilliantly scammed me, deserves my ISK. I hope he uses it better then I did. My career in eve is done. I'm done, I have literally nothing left and even if I did, I can't justify spending another minute investing time in a game that allows fictitious BUY orders. As far as I am concerned it's a broken/malicious game mechanic.

If I had any stuff left I would give it away, my time in eve has concluded.

Thanks for the fun times but I have to move on.

Question

So much for quitting.

Corestwo's sixth rule of eve: No one who threatens to quit over anything, actually does.

Of course, if you're waiting for "inflation wars" to be over to really play, you're going to be waiting awhile...

well read it again I said it accelerated my decision to take a break, the possibility of not being able to afford a plex made it a reality.

but I REFUSE to be taken out by a market scam, I always thought being killed in nullsec would have been the end of my career.
