What is the point on that?
China has no law to restrict the internet access unless the government has already blocked the server.
And this is no only in China, just like a lot countries have blocked the website like "the pirate bay" and "wiki leaks".

Moreover, there are millions of chinese ppl living overseas, actually I felt more laggy and delay when i played in Chinese server.
And it is not written in EULA that chinese should not play in TQ. The problem is when the GM said the reason why to block a chinese user due to china has its own server, it is an action to against to law and morality.

As mentioned by the previous post, the Tiananmen square past for more than 20 years. It is ridiculous that ppl blaming chinese ppl always by giving a reason of Tiananmen Square. First, you guys don't even know the truth of the event. Second, it is a government action so you guys should blame the government rather than the chinese ppl.

To the OP - It does sound as though it's collateral damage from some pretty ham - fisted bot banning procedures from CCP, as opposed to deliberate discrimination on the part of CCP against Chinese people. I know it hardly seems fair that mainly Chinese players are affected by this, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it's happening simply on account of your race. I'd advise patience and hope that the issue gets resolved soon. I know it's frustrating but hey, I'd hope it's worth it for EVE.

Don't mind me - just added some keywords to the thread.

This account, Athreya, was perma banned in the past for RMT. I was trying to level several trial accounts at ones and transferred a few cheap skillboooks to these accounts to start leveling. Was permabaned for RMT by GM Gusto. It took 3 months of petitioning and 3 time reopening of petitions to get account back. At the end, GMs told me, ok we have discussed this issue and agreed to unban you for this time, but in the next time... and did not return skillpoints lost. Needless to tell I never do any suspicious actions anymore and always write a comment why I send money to somebody

I think your google translate messed up, unless I missed something. I'm pretty sure Tiananmen square as mentioned here was a reference to the level the government of China is willing to go to to quell a protest.

I haven't read the last few pages so I'm not a 100% sure on that, but I don't think anyone is under the illusion that that particular event was anything but an oppressive agressive action to stomp out all resistance by military force as ordered by the government. I don't think anybody sensible thought it was the fault of the Chinese people.

There have been quasi-racist comments to be sure, but they're mostly trolling and it's hard to say whether they actually are racist or just pretending to be. Some people are a bit clueless with regard to that sort of thing and tend to think it's amusing. Most sensible people just ignore them.

Also, Dude, chinaman is not the preferred nomenclature. Asian-American, please.
