A single t2 module? Wow, that's rich.

I have never had anything other than a fantastic experience with petitions, whether the resolution was in my favor or not.

People need to relax (I realize Eve attracts the great narcissists of the universe, so this is hard).

Can you guys please reallocate additional resources to ban petitions. As we have been waiting for 10 days now without a CCP response. Any response is better than no response. Just let us know that you still exist, that you haven't just deleted the petition, or that you're investigating it. I would have thought that bans/billing/account related petitions would receive the highest priority, as they're directly related to earning you money.

Good luck with that, they'll probably just ban you from the forms to shut you up.

Do not assume anything above this line was typed by me. Nerf the Truth, it's inconvenient.

Well they did just lock my last thread where I asked if it was normal to never even send an email saying "You have been banned for X, for Y days". Their advice is to "file a petition" which is exactly what I'm asking about, because if they ignore my petitions then filing another won't do anything. And in fact can be used against me as a bannable offense if they claim I'm spamming the petition queue.

I asked about the process, they locked it. I mentioned that they were taking excessively long, they locked it. This thread has been going for a while, not locked... we'll see how long that lasts.

I have to make a statement here, I filed my first petition yesterday, and because of all the bashing here, I did not expect a fast response, which I got 5 minutes later and missed therefore :0

And I also do not agree with bashing Devs and GMs for spending time in the forum, if they wouldn't you would complain about the lack of interest about the forum.

I want to make that clear, I am not happy about Incarna because it gave me nothing essential but took away something (yes I am talking about the shiphangar). And the AUR thing, hey so far nobody is forced to use it.

But what makes me angry is all that indifferent bashing on CCP-people in the forums, whatever they do, they will get bashed. At the moment it is not easy to be an EVE employee, but someone has to do the job.

BUT that person who decided on the "DOOR" image for the static CQ should be punished.....severely...

Whenever you hear something in the news about a chainsaw massacre which involved a killer screaming "the DOOR, the DOOOORRRRR", yeah that will be me

Seriously, don't take me serious, I MEAN IT...seriously

Oh and as punishment for the "DOOR" I suggest, 500 hours of watching "Homeboys in Outer Space", nonstop and unpaid

Maybe I should explain my DOOR-hate'rage, I can only assume (or hope) you CCP guys chose that door image with the intent to give the player/user/customer (whatever) a looking forward message for future development, when the door is opening.

What I received, and I am only talking for myself, we took your shiphangar away, gave you a not really functional CQ and if you don't like it.....THERE's the DOOR, we don't need you as a player.

Seriously, don't take me serious, I MEAN IT...seriously

I think part of the issue with petitions seems to be the 'our logs dont show anything' mentality it feels like we are getting

We have recently had a bug Occur (Im not going into details). It is a well known issue.

Now once we got the Gm's to accept there was an issue we were able to work with CCP to atleast find out what was causing the Bug and hopefully in future it will be fixed and atleast we can now use other tactics to avoid it.

Now to get the GM's to accept there was an issue was a nightmare. We had to down right harrass the GM's to get them to look into it.

If the GM's had used less canned responses and been a little more open to the fact there was an issue the problem the process wouldnt have felt as difficult.

Sometimes i think the only way to be safe would be to perminatly run the log server.

sometimes i like the response times and other i hate it so much.

i have had severel times where i have had to use alt number 2 or 3 to send petitions cause you are too slow to answear. of cause looking at the number 1200 per day is alot but still. the longest ive had a petition is 52 days about a bug that in the meantime had fixed itself but none the less a bug about the pos not accepting passwords no matter what.

That is unacceptable. Completely and totally unacceptable. Several weeks to fix an issue that was not caused by any fault of my own? I was lucky enough to get a hold of a GM in a chat channel and he informed me that the account was either hacked or associated with a known hacker. So now I have to wait for you guys to sort it out because someone hacked my account?

I cannot comment on your specific case, but let me assure you that these types of cases are incredibly complicated and involve lengthy and complex investigations. Cutting corners in these matters will result in far greater damage to your account and the accounts of all other players that are involved or affected. I know that it is painful and downright frustrating, but where account security is concerned a little patience will save even greater harm.

So I realize investigations can take some time, but with your most recent post, stating there are 60-70 various game masters why does it take so long to look at something as urgent as an account being hacked? The petition initially said it would have to wait for a Senior Game Master to respond, which I never heard from. It's been over 2 weeks now and I still have not heard from the actual teams that are investigating, all I have heard from yourself another GM in game is I have to wait. Wait Wait wait. But no real other information.

What is the reasoning behind this?

i got 3 weeks left of my annual subscription, and a petition is open(but not answered... about a GM lying to me ) , is going to be a close race...........

or not so close perhaps.......

And maybe, just maybe, if you go away, the GM's can delete your 10,000 complaints and move on to people with real issues.

/terminated

Did anyone click on the link for 2010 pettiion stats? Did anyone read the GM's comment about plus/minus 1200 petitions a day?

If a petition were processed every 5 minutes, that's 12 per hour. 20 GM's = 240 per hour. 5 hours = 1200. But ONLY if they take no longer than 5 minutes each.

And they still averaged 85% satisfaction.

So you get a canned response? I suspect that's an absolute neccessity. I also suspect that half the petitions are due to player error and a canned response would eliminate a reasonable portion of petitions when said player realises their error.

Perhaps if you guys stopped whining and petitioning such trivia, the GM's might have time to breath and enjoy life. I reckon they do a great job. I have never had an issue in almost 3 years. Never.

But perhaps I am a little more capable of resolving things without having my hand held.

My longest response ever was 4 days and that's because a patch was coming and in my petition I noted it was more of a bug report so they didn't need to respond ever. Shortest response was about 5 minutes for a stuck petition(best customer service I have got in any game ever).

Where you really dumb enough to use railguns and to like them enough to buy the railgun spec book?

I filled a petition over a week ago trying to get reimbursement. I'm starting to think they intentionally ignore these.
