hmmm... for some reason you forget:
* new DEDs 6-10/10 in null
* new DED 5/10 in low
* 20-40 new normal & storyline missions
those should be enough, i am bored to write more

There is only so much you can do with a few handfuls of people working on EVE.

The rest are busy doing the other projects and cooking for Hilmar.

We know the groups working on EVE: Team Gridlock and Team BFF

I wanna know how many groups are working elsewhere. Put to bed the question if there are more groups not working on EVE than are.

Heh, forgot how awesome the old ambulation looked. Vast areas, high ceilings etc. The water decoration was a great touch for lighting etc. On top of that, it was graphically better in terms of textures and lighting, and it was made nearly 5 years ago. Why they scrapped it and replaced it with captains closet is beyond me.

(on a side note, can't help but notice all the structures in that video look a bit... gothic... What?)

Well, what's probably helping to further your confusing are the assumptions you're making. I can see why you'd be wondering why they scrapped it. Considering they didn't, I think you can probably figure out where you went wrong.

Incarna is now and always has been a stepping stone.

Darn, I almost had forgotten that video.

Now I understand better why I *used* to think that Incarna would be awesome.

Yet now I just log in, look around my avatar and shiver whenever I think of what Incarna may deliver actually. In case it ever is delivered, as finishing stuff is not in CCP's business book... Roll

(If our CQ= 1 point of "finishness" -lighting issues aside-, the true Incarna would rank about 20 or 30, and can't believe CCP is able to make all that work in the time schedule provided. I always thought that Incarna wouldn't be completed earlier than winter 2012 and CCP would have been too kind to admit it rather than tease and disappoint us with half-cooked free samples of the poorer brand -if we could have got a stylish working Gallente CQ at least we could be proud to show that as a "work in progress"...)

I most ardently bloody-well hope, that when that angsty-teen-vampire--pardon: Vampyre-- thingy they're working on falls on its' face, that when the console-kiddies get bored of DUST-514, that,

A) CCP will finally have learnt a lesson about the importance of "core-product," and keeping customers of same happy
B) The lesson won't have bankrupted them to the point of EVE's servers going dark. SW: Galaxies comes to mind, here...

Star Wars: the Old Republic may not be EVE. But I'll take the sound of dual blaster-pistols over "NURVV CLAOKING NAOW!!!11oneone!!" any day of the week.

Granted, the work they did before and after was amazing, ambulation looks like Quake2 compared to what we have now. Not entirely awesome. (in my eyes)

Atmospheric flight was never meant to happen, this has been stated about 20 million times.

And woopey-doo, another EVE player terrified of change. What's new? Flying spaghetti monster forbid the game grows a little and takes on a bit of flavor.

Nah, we should just do the same thing over and over again for the rest of eternity. Cool

Yes, because 300,000 accounts full of characters wearing the same 3 outfits adds flavor.Roll Best part about the ambulation video is that the characters still had some style. Seriously, the art guys have been spending too much time on textures and not enough time on models. The old ambulation video pisses me off more than anything... all that awesome stuff, a lot of which was ALREADY IN THE GAME compared to what we've actually got now.

Maxim 6. If violence wasn’t your last resort, you failed to resort to enough of it.

Yesterday...
All my troubles seemed so far away,
It was such an awesome game to play,
Oh I believe in yesterday.

Suddenly...
EVE ain't half the game it used to be,
CCP nerfed it to hell, you see,
Oh I believe in yesterday.
