Right guys, im a newbie and proud...
At the moment im doing sec missions (level 1) but i feel the urge to explore the regions (high or low sec) but i want to take up the career of either pirating or Bounty hunting? I know there both opposite, but whats more fun, proffitable and safe.

It depends. Neither career is "safe", either one can be profitable, and (my opinion) both are fun. Try out each one see which you like the most.

Piracy, considering the bounty system is completely broken.

Tips for making money as a pirate:

  • Gate camping is the most reliable income. For this you will need at least a battlecruiser.
  • Always ransom if possible. It makes more money. Always honor your ransoms. People distrust pirates enough already from the part timers who don't do it for a living being unprofessional.
  • Fly as cheaply as you can and still be able to kill stuff.
  • GTFO capability is an important criteria in ship selection.
  • Join a good corp ASAP and learn from them. You might need to get a few solo kills before they'll take you seriously.

This. All of this. Also, if you want to pirate, let me know.

Profit is in the eye of the beholder. Running off to low sec will probably give you the harsh reality that being self sufficient is key. A lot of us Pirates have carebear alts, or other toons we've planted in budding corps waiting for the right time to make a hefty payout.

Piracy is not all about ransoms and kills and anyone else who says otherwise is an idiot. It's about tears, tact. And a tenacity to make even those sad null sec knuckleheads fear you...

My suggestion? Make an alt. sow seeds of trust. The key though is being convincing: it's a very dangerous game yet if played right can see you having a station full of scantly clad Girly boys at your beck and call.

Also who wants to be some pasty faced merc anyways? Doing someone else's killing because their too chickensh@& to do it themselves? Bah.

Oh and us pirates never die if any of the old songs be true...

Yo ho haul together. Hoist the colors high. Heave ho thieves and beggars. Never shall we die.

Well both if you ask me, but don't waste time on the in-game bounty system. It is broke as all hell.

Get some pvp under your belt, then try to hook up with a pirate or mec corp. If you actually have some talent make your own.
