Dear CCP,

since you are now giving some love to Faction Warefare I kindly ask you to take also a look at the LP-Stores with regards to Faction Modules. Currently Faction Modules like for example 1MN Faction Microwarpdrives are much more expensive (even when just taking tags into account) than a similar Deadspace Module like for example 1MN Gist Microwarpdrives. Can you please fix them. Just take a look at the contracts, nobody is producing them since they can't compete with the Deadspace Modules.

In my opinion a 1MN Minmatar Faction AB for example should have similar costs like the Medium Minmatar Faction Shield Extender. The 1MN Minmatar Faction MWD maybe twice that expensive. Currently they are 5 to 10 times that expensive. Can you please fix this with the next expansion?

Their price are determined by supply/demand and their LP+isk price from the LP store. This needs to be balanced towards other LP store items but im not sure what tis balance looks like today but its not as simple as to just reduce their price.

I've actually recently noticed an issue like this with the caldari navy ballistic control system.

I actually did the math based off the cost of the tags, module, and isk required to buy the item and was able to determine that the players were selling the modules for 1mil more than what it would have cost to buy everything needed to get it outright from the LP store, in which to say that the LP they earned was only worth 1mil isk.

This is how the market works. It's a player-driven economy, no need for CCP to intervene.

The problem is that the LP and Tag requirement in the LP store are fixed therefore they do not adapt to the absence of demand. Its just doesn't make any sense if many items in the Faction Store are obsoleted just by the fact that dead space items (sometimes even better ones) are much cheaper. It would rather make sense that the LP and Tag requirements for items in the LP store are dynamically adapted over a longer period of time to the demand. Which means if some items have a low demand then their requirements should be reduced and vice versa. This would be a more natural behaviour.

If module X is better in virtually every way to Module Y and Module X is much easier and faster to acquire, then Module X is useless and deserving of a rebalance.

The only way that the faction prop mods and whatnot would come down in price relative to LP store mods would be if pretty much everyone stopped doing exploration and started running missions. That doesn't sound like a desirable outcome to me.

once again tag requirement distributions, not the modules themselves.

Its not possible to please all the people all the time, but it sure as hell is possible to Displease all the people, most of the time.
