So I am trying to get into a tengu to run missions (getting bored with my raven) and maybe a little pvp later on. Just curious if I am on the right path to fly a properly fitted tengu. Sub systems have yet to be trained and i'm currently working on missile skills (HM 5 ATM). Any feedback to skills I should pick up or anything that I can change/add that would help me would be great.

Thank much for the help

still plenty of stuff to do

your missile support skills could use some love, training for t2 heavy's first is probably the right choice though. I'd recommend rapid launch to V, warhead upgrades to at least IV, but V if you can stomach it. Same goes for guided missile precision and target navigation prediction.

Navigation skills are good for a tengu as well as a big part of the tank is the speed and small signature radius. Acceleration control is the big one here as it improves your AB speed bonus. Navigation to V is very usefull as well since it gives a speed bonus to all ships for only a rank 1 skill.

You've done allright in the engineering department. No gaping holes there. ofcourse you can always max out some marginally usefull skills like shield compensation. You could also train the appropriate rigging skills to IV, for the tengu thats probably missile launcher rigging

Other then that there isnt much you need that specifically applies for the tengu, but more stuff like supprt skills ( the core competency skills) a couple of example"s: energy management to V for cap. Get Advanced weapon upgrades to IV for fitting.

Hope that helps

Thanks for the advice, I've searched high and low to try to find a skill plan. But knowing i'm on the right track just winging it helps. Another question though. Is it worth using a remap to changed my attributes? Right now I have Perception at 28 and willpower at 28 with +4 implants, I recently found out your primary should be higher. thoughts?

Make sure you have good microwarp/afterburner skills. You'll want the mobility without destroying your cap.

I like to train all sorts of different skills, so I try to keep my attirbutes somewhat evenly distributed. If you have a certain goal and think you can train dedicatetly then it is worth it yes. If you keep getting distracted too much.

Plug in skills you want to train into evemon and see what yuo can gain from remapping. And then it's still up to you. It's all a matter of preference

QFT if you haven't used your remap and you know exactly what you want plug it all into evemon and see how much time it'll save you. But keep in mind if you do remap your skill training in other areas will be penalized and you won't train other skills quite as fast. So before you remap just make sure that is what you definitely want to train for, as there is no going back for one year.
