Where do you get this idea they all live in fear? Hisec is like the inner city or something, and 0.0 is the desert.

It's more than that, though. We come and blowe up your stuff, then you come and whine to CCP about it. Cry about how they should buff your mining ships to be able to fit more tank or whatever. In reality if the Hulk got a buff to PG and CPU, maybe more lows and mids, you people would just use it to fit more MLUs. Maybe an MWD so you can cherry pick those asteroids faster.

I wouldn't be surprised if the only complaint ticket that was made was the one by Goonswarm themselves, crying about something in hisec being unfair. Everyone who lives there knows it's unforgiving and unfair.

You do not seem to comprehend the amount of money the CFC has. You REALLY don't.

How high of a participation rate are you expecting from them? At say 1/5th participation, numbers might favor them slightly, but there are a lot of force multipliers that can easily make a straight-up fight a painful proposal for the invaders, to say the least.

I'm saying that if the majority of them, meaning if they actually gathered all the people who are genuinely mad at us, and want to drive us out of the game, then rallied the fence sitters against us, they probably could beat us. Like I said, they'd have to rally under one unified leadership, and they'd have to have some good FCs, and they'd have to listen to those FCs. But I really, truly think they could take us.

Which makes it absolutely ridiculous that they won't do it.

It's what a trillion a month from the tech? Some decent billions from the ratting/POCO taxes. I can go and look at the last audit, but currently the income would be a lot higher because of tech price going through the roof.

A bigger problem would be spies in the attack force, leading to predictable jumping into bombers. Or shooting POS, another favorite honeypot to get bombers.

EDT: At least you probably wouldn't have to worry about the CFC super rifter fleet.

A) I'm not a victim

C) There is a difference between "selling anyone short" and a cold appraisal of the facts.

D) CFC / OPEC:

Making the rest of eve dance to their tune. Even the people who can't hear the music, CFC et al have figured out the choke points and occupied them. Everyone is impacted by fuel prices, tech two prices, mineral prices, etc...

Even the people in WH's (where super cap proliferation isn't a problem yet, unless Seleene gets her dam Wormhole Stabilizer bullshit into the game) all have to get their mission critical materials from CFC controlled assets...

E) Hi-sec'ers are just not interested (for the most part) in Sov games (those who aren't alts of 0.0 players) - otherwise they would be out in 0.0 doing their thing there, so that is a complete non-starter to begin with.

F) Who threatens the CFC/OTEC?

To go back to the inner city reference i made before, in tough neighborhoods everyone just keeps their head down and doesn't get involved when bullets start flying. I now see that's the problem with getting hisec to 'fight back'.

The game openly encourages and celebrates the worst behavior in people, so we now have a game full of the worst kinds of people. Those who live in hisec are the most abused and griefed people in the entire game, so you can't scare them, because they met people like you their first hour in the game. They have no interest in protecting hisec or fighting back, just staying alive, and protecting their own interests.
