So, lately, the internet has been awash in trendy pithy good causes. Kony 2012 and such.

I thought I'd try to start my own.

Long story short: Man writes to Dear Abby for advice; apparently, his son plays sports, and when he loses a game, he beats up and torments the family dog to take out his frustration. Sounds like a psychopath in the making. We know he's writing from Cleveland, and his dog is named Patches.

This post will either scroll off first page unnoticed, or start a global media campaign compelling Cleveland residents to ask themselves if they know any families with a dog named Patches.
