A couple of question if you have a minute.


1) Recently there has been a lot of talk about how you lost some corps and some of the alliance leadership.

How has the alliance rebounded from this?

2) Since all of this has happened,

Will you be lowering your rates to reflect the current state of your alliance in the public eye?

There is talk that we died a couple of times and that we are dying again, yet here we are.
When a duck gets eaten, others take their place. Not much to it.

We are changing our price plan because we like pew more then we like isk. We're hoping this will get us even more fights.

I would hope so. Your KB percentages have been going down since February. You peaked at 88. 36 efficiency. March and April you have 67.62 and 61.97 respectively. This month, I know first day and all, but still you are sitting at a whopping 33.96. Not to mention that your overall average is at 70 percent.

With your KB stats going the opposite way they should and your overall efficiency sub 80 percent, This would legally put you in the mid tear Merc Alliance pay grade.

I am not trolling I am asking serious questions that you seem to deem worthless. If this your response to some "trolling" then I would hate to see what happens to your fleets when you run in to people that fight back.

As a merc corp/alliance you should hold your KB stats high, You should be open with the public and not act like a snob. The general EVE player knows that recent events that happened within your alliance, Bite Me leaving is a good example, make perspective clients uneasy with your high rates.

If these question are to forward, direct or hit close to home, Please send someone that is willing to answer these questions and not fall back on the "troll" card.

Alt or not, he raises very valid concerns and it would be best to answer them appropriately rather than raise the troll/alt card. Just assume he's a customer and answer the questions as thoughtfully and honestly as possible.

not only as a customer. I wanted to put an alt in ducks a few months ago because i really like the WH PVP as well but with all of the leaks about the drama and their PVP performance scraping bottom (losing almost as many T3's as they are able to kill---their killboard from April makes them look like kamikazes) I think the alliance needs rebuilding and recruiting (especially FC's) more than they need new contracts.

I wish them luck but I fear that the worst thing that could happen to them right now is that they actually get a contract. Public failure is the worst failure. Better right now to take a step back and pick up the pieces.

To be perfectly honest though, if you are to hire mercs, you want the ones who go in for a fight even if they will lose as much as their opponents, rather than run away and hide if they sense danger.

Good for Narwals if they indeed don't shy away from fights with their T3s. EVE is a lot more fun if you rip the blueball tactic out of your playbook.

Wow people are all-aboard on the "OMG DUCKS ARE FAILING!!!" train....
Grow up.

Around 70% efficiency is pretty standard for the larger WH corps since a singe loss is generally between 1-2bil.
You wipe a T3 fleet once in a blue moon (no one can win them all) and youre looking at a 10-20bil hit to the KB which makes it near impossible to keep an extremely high efficiency unless you don't commit to any real fights.

About time you guys cut out the POS bash crap ;)

Since the aggressor always has the element of surprise on their side, there really should be no reason to be losing almost as many T3's as you kill. To me it has "poor FC's" written all over it... YYMV

I'm out of WH's for awhile and suddenly everyone gets visions of grandeur of being WH mercs?

I still foresee a market niche for POS/POCO bashing WH corp as subcontractors. Some people just aren't any good at shooting other people in eve like they are at shooting structures. Some(like me) are just terrible at this game.

The problem is that the average C1/C2 WH owner or "want to be future owner" expecting us Mercs to serve him for a price that is in no relation to what every of our members could do in the same time running lvl1 missions.
Many customers seem to think that takeing down a large faction dickstar in a C1 is fun -> it is not !
And getting 30mil/member for it doesnt makes it more fun. So if you think that owning a low class WH with HS static is the way to go then also be prepared to pay a reasonable amount of ISK if you cant defend/capture it on your own.

Us being Mercs doesnt mean we are slaves for those in the need of help. We reserve us the right to choose what we do and what we charge for it.

edit: Kudos for Ducks to getting rid of that POS crap.

Look at us all, answering questions.

I think we rejected you because of cliché infested run-on sentences and your intent to "put an alt" in DUCK. You don't put an alt in DUCK, you go balls deep.

We're a proven force to our repeat customers, testimonials aren't too hard to find. And sometimes when we're most thirsty for pvp, our targets don't bother to check our kb stats, they just see the tags and try to run away.

Or perhaps it was experimentation, or challenging contracts.

Actually our best and most frequent contracts are pos saves, which aren't quite as awesome as EVE pvp can possibly be but still pretty fun.
