you are still safe in a orca if you tank it properly. If you are constantly jumping from system to system you are fine. The amount of tornadoes that you would need is more than the average highsec corp has players. Let alone finding you out of the blue and setting up the gank. Only people who will get gankin in a orca are the ones in a belt.

I have more space likes than you.

Can't help but know your mistaken there, chose the sec status of the system right and even a max tanked Orca (not many of them about I bet) will be a slowly expanding cloud of gas and wreckage for a reasonably small outlay in comparison to the killmail gained.

By the way, there are these things called Combat Scanner Probes, real useful when looking something to pop and the larger and slower it is the quicker you find it.

An Orca can fit a tank that would make most battleships jealous. But I don't think you quite understand how suicide ganking works if you actually think your basi is going to save your Orca from a competent gank squad.

more or less this.

You can fit a tank that could surprise most gankers ....once. After that they will bring more fire to bare. Eventually they will take you down unless they have no friends and give up.

A well tanked orca has more ehp than a freighter. Most participants wouldn't bother with blowing up well tanked orcas when they can blow up tons more hulks, macks, cargofited orca (only have 60k ehp) with the same amount of ships needed to blow up a well tanked orca.
