I have alwyas suggested this but never was quite able to
relay it to CCP to include in the game.

At around 4:38, it is mentioned "ride the asteroid" - this is exactly what I would like to
have for my ship i fly. I think it woule really make it so realistic if I was able to ride the ship from any point
while turning or maneuvering.

Please try to implement this. NAyon eagree, or disagree?

You can already zoom in really close, I presume you mean having the camera match the ship's rotation as well as location? In that case I'd also suggest being able to zoom to zero (be inside the ship looking out, ie with the ship being invisible)

I see the 3D view as entertaining eyecandy, the overview is where work gets done -- this would add to the entertainment factor, so yay
