Ok, so we got ship spinning in station back a while ago... just to confirm, it didn't go away again, did it?

I lost my drive with my Wine installs, and had to do a reinstall... and while I was at it, I installed Xubuntu 12.04... and compiled the latest Wine with a couple of patches (for https sites and the T3 crashes)... and now ship my ship won't spin in station. There's lots different now than when it was last known working, so I'm trying to decide which variable to attack first.

Do you have "Load Station Environment" under the Display & Graphics tab checked? When I unchecked it after trying Captains Quarters again I noticed my ship stopped spinning in the hanger.

I have a fruit cup and I'm not afraid to use it.

Oh, yeah, I unchecked it... I couldn't get in without crashing otherwise. If I recheck it, will it send me to the CQ? (Not in a position to test at the moment.)

Uncheck only to login and to avoid the CQ. Then once you are in a hangar check it again. Just do not enter the CQ, which has its own button on the right side panel when you are docked in a station. This turns station spinning on again.
