... is there another way to buy Tritanium and/or Pyerite in a compressed form?

Building T1 Modules for compression is not an option for me...

Metal Scraps

500 trit per 0.01m3.

And they should be more common now.

Woo! CSM XI!

either it's metal scraps (I've just got 125 from like 20 lv2 missions) at 500 trit @ 0.01m3

Fun fact: Means a standard Imicus can transport 16mil trit.

As for pyerite, I guess buying the modules is your only bet.

I lied :o

As a matter of fact, the structure in the right hand of Zazzmatazz can still drop 1-2 units (Yes - I know that's a negligible quantity).

Maybe buy shuttles up, toss them in a ship maintenance bay, and carry them that way?
You can still load the regular cargo holds with metal scraps or railguns, too.

I'm not completely sure (gone for business for a few weeks blargh) but the 500 ratio is for reinforced scrap metal, the regular one is quite lower
