The Exequror needs the same fix as its T2 version, the Oneiros, recently got.

This ship needs a mid moving to a low, just like the T2 version had.
And/or a bonus swap to reduce RR PG fitting requirements. It simply can't be buffered atm. We can try, but:

10k armour and reps itself 320dps before drones. So we gained 2k armour for needing 2 fitting rigs and losting 25% RR power to fit the larger plate.

To get a 1600mm plate on it:

Now it can barely rep 200dps at reduced range. So much spare CPU, utterly gimped by needing buckets of PG mods (incuding a decent-SP-requiring T2 Reactor Control Unit). The real kicker? it's only 13k EHP armour anyway so not worth doing at all.

Going from 400mm to 1600mm plate we've only gained 5k EHP. :psyccp:

The only other dedicated RR fit seems to be to no-tank/speed-tank it and perma-mwd while being fed by 2 medium meta4 cap trans. 2k EHP armour, 5k total, only 1350m/s before heat. A distraction for enemy firepower as much as any real RR value, and requires that it stay within 36km of the feeder Augoror. Might as well have brought 2 destroyers each with more buffer.

At least it's only 7mil all in, and most's in the hull cost.


Said cap-trans Augoror can do a decent 25k armour, averages 70% resists (so tanks 500dps from 4 meta4 medium RR, see first fit in this post) and is only 15mil fully fitted and needing 1 cap trans itself to be stable.
And that ship no-buffer fitted like the last Exequror fit, it can be all done for just 5mil and cap stable on its own while able to feed 2 Exequrors/ 2 sets of 4 meta4 medium RR modules / even a Guardian, set of Battleships or shield-repper like an Osprey. Now that Augoror is a t1 logi cruiser that could be worth putting people in.

Again, Exequror needs a mid moving to a low, just like the T2 version had.
With this it could have a place to put a PG or resist module and be more EHP than a poor frigate, while an obvious primary.

Anyone care to point out a better reasonable fit for the Exequror or am I right that it really needs PG / the same slot switch as it's T2 version just got?
