Ah well we were planning on coming tomorrow but nevermind.
Person who was going to come along won't be able to get in, doesn't turn 21 for a couple more months.

Not useless posting, I posted prior to learning she would not be let in.

Yes, I just confirmed with the pub that anyone under 21 can come in, but they have to leave at 9 PM.

We had four this past weekend, which I think was pretty good in light of the horrible weather we had. Next month's meetup is set for 8PM on 25 May.

Also, I realized yesterday that the in game channel I set up is Houston Meetupds. Not sure how that happened, I am certain when I set it up it was Houston Meetup, which channel exists but someone else is the channel owner. So if you are not already in the channel, feel free to join Houston Meetupds.

Hows it going everyone... I just found out about this thread and I am wondering if you guys/gals still get together much.

My wife and I live up towards the lake Livingston area but that is only an hour drive to Houston. Which side of Houston do you normally meet on?

Hey there, yes we still meet on a monthly basis, see my previous post just above yours. We meet at the King's Head pub on Eldridge just south of Briar Forest, out on the west side of town. That's south of I-10 just inside Hwy 6, on the way towards Katy.

Ah ok, yeah Katy may be a bit too far for me, but I'll have to see. I use to live off of Barker Cypress and I think that is about 2+ hours from here now... Straight

Yep according to google maps its roughly 90 miles from here to Eldridge/Briar Forest... I'll keep track of the thread for the next meetup and see what is going on..

We can usually be found in the private room through the french doors just to the left as you enter the pub. If it's raining out, though, that's where they set up the live band, instead of out on the patio. So you can ask around if there's a band in there, otherwise it should be us.

Good meetup this weekend. No new faces showed up, a few regulars were out, but there were 5 of us. The blues band playing on the patio were rocking it, plus the place was packed as some guy named Jim was celebrating his 50th birthday. Our normal room was taken by the party-goers but we ended up in the big meeting room toward the back. The fajitas were good, too.

Next meetup will be on Saturday, July 27, at 8 pm. See y'all there.
