No sec status and no loot of any kind confirmed. Thanks CCP. Good job.

CCP is just ensuring that no one wants the Drone lands other than Russian botters & renters. What would they do if they lost all those botting subs and RMT supporting renters.

Someone posted their bounties from the test server a while back and if those numbers were accurate they actually have really small bounties. Can you tell me what their bounties are currently?

Anyone who has done SoE in Arnon has seen Isk4 and his alt. They talk trash in local, but are definitely not bots. :-P

AFAIK these bounties are all still accurate. This is my take on it, having done/written quite a bit with the dronelands since the initial nerf. The size of the bounties doesn't matter to me. Lets say for example (not that this is true) that drone bounties were half of what other space was, but they had half the HP (so you could kill them faster). The ISK/min from drone bounties would be the same (half the isk, twice as fast).

Having gone to the test server and run sites and timed it in other space I got almost exactly the same isk/minute in dronelands as in sperpentis (I think it was) space, in bounties. So even if the bounties are smaller, they stack up with other rats.

That said, that's bounties only. TBH I wouldn't be salvaging anyway as I think my time value is better spent moving to the next site than coming back for loot. However, if it's loot your interested in for other reasons, then yes, the total value of drone sites is less than other areas of space because it's completely lacking this. Not to mention the sec status, again, if that's what you're into.

More drone rigs.
More T2 drone types.
Hopefully also some more love for smaller drone boats.

I for one believe a brand new set of T1 destroyers made for 'utility use' could be interesting. Maybe 50 m3 drone control / 150m3 drone bay? Made for support roles. (lots of mid/low slots, only 4 high)

um.............how do I break the news delicately..................

This is discussing NPC drone rat loot, not your Combat Drones.

Which, since the original conjecture they are commenting on is that when the drone combat revamp occurs it will lead to unique loot tables for the drone regions... which actually does make sense and is related to the OP.

It also makes sense for CCP to create turmoil by encouraging drone region alliances to clear out for the moment, and then create a land rush when they make them attractive again.

CCP works in not so mysterious ways.

THIS......is the issue.

Nobody in this group of experienced players, apparently myself included who reads every DevBlog, has heard of this at all apparently. That's why for the moment it is indeed irrelevant to the OP.

That's good to hear.

And distributing all of that stuff after you collect it is a burden as well. Those for whom it wouldn't be a burden - the more organized - are less interested in the space as it is, which means that they'll offer less competition to the less organized. So those who complain in other threads that "nullsec mafia" won't "let them in" to escape from the drudgery of highsec: here's some nullsec where you should reasonably have an easier time of it. Yeah, it's not as good, but it's because it's not as good that it's more available to you.

More potentially than if the complainers got what they wanted, anyway.

Also, there are a lot of crazy people who want to be loved by everyone, who turn down anti-Caldari missions given to them by Gallente agents. Maybe other crazy people would like to be loved by pirates? They can farm drones instead, and take as a bonus that they will not be humiliated with sec status gains.

You forgot your Tinfoil Hat Disclaimer. Blink

You really think some kind of masochists can distort the game around into a sick fantasy where a sec gain is humiliating, accompanied by a threat of pirate 'love' ( Shocked )................I need to log for awhile.

Sounds like they've done a complete botch job as usual. Why not just delete the region off the map?

Or just do the work properly.

The drone DED complexes are pretty bad in comparison to their 'pirate' equivalents too now - the lack of loot drops makes them nowhere near as interesting/profitable as other DED complexes.

I wasn't thinking about the HP part. If they're a lot faster to kill that might make up for it. Those bounties are extremely small compared to the ones I'm used to, but as long as it's the same ISK/hour that's fine. They really need to give them loot and security status increases though or drone space will be inferior.

Drones never dropped anything other than alloys. They lost alloys and gained bounties. They still don't drop loot, as intended. I see no problem.

The Drone thong not working out?

What are the RMT/Botter ops going to do now?

Sorry, can't help it.

But honestly, it would be nice if the drones would occasionally drop a little something that could go towards building augmented drones.

C'mon CCP toss us drone pilots a frickin' bone here.

I'd like to see this, but rather than keep holding my breath, I trained 10 million points of Gunnery instead.
