Through a incredibly hard fought race it was me in the Lotus.
I was rather more than a little surprised

Something that pisses me off about Forza 4 is Turn 10 seemed to put alot of effort in to making the AI far more intelligent drivers, but then rather than the driver relying upon the performance of the car and improving against you; the better you do the more agressive it makes the Rubberband Effect.

By this I mean cars will have completely unrealistic performance to make races "Closer and Exciting", but really all this means particularly in the High-End (A, S and R3-1) that they will lag behind momentarily before exploding ahead of you and staying at an unobtainable distance away regardless of your driving. Another issue with it is you often feel like the cars are taunting you if you **** up, because they will slow down just enough to make you feel like you could catch up when in reality once you hit your stride again they disappear.

Friends thought I was being a ****** driver, but when you dominate all of them in Rivals Leaderboard (by quite large margins) and often especially as you're in the same car yet they will out-accelerate you and go round corners at speed that often have me understeering off the track when following them a few inches behind.

The rest of the game is incredibly awesome and fun, but the Single Player honestly just pisses me off. Don't mind coming in 2nd, 3rd... etc... if I'm being out-skilled, but getting beaten cause the damn AI can cheat and act like they have NOS installed ruined the SP for me.

Mind I'm also not fond of the arcade style, single short event system they've gone with. Don't know why they couldn't have had a seperate arcade mode and had Career be more based against TOCA or F1; with a more season setup, including Practise Laps, Qualifying Rounds and a reasonably lengthy race. Hell they have most of the F1 tracks in the game (atleast from the early 90s)

The game as a whole has some awesome improvements over Forza 3, but at the same time more I guess "casualisation" of how to play. I mean the advanced steering system & kinect-based corner looking is just incredible; but then you have to play a more arcade career... just ******** :'(

Ive noticed that if you get ahead of them for the most part they seem to just give up the race unless youre really close

But yeah the computer always cheats man... in like everything

What game DOESNT go for casualization to get more ppl?

How crazy is it to trick out a 1968 Dodge HEMI Super Stock and end up Class S 700
It goes into R3 if I wanted it to; I dont think itd be competable at that lvl but it goes that high O.o
