Right now I´m standing about 50 km away from the Jita gate in Perimeter. And it looks awesome, about 300 people surrounding the gate, followed by dozens of Concord ships. We just saw a transporter blown up by 2 tornados, which then were killed by Concord. The wrecks were immediately salvaged and replaced by new wrecks from new suicide ganks. Concord is quite busy in killing all the gankers, therefore the whole system is very laggy atm. Furthermore, even if you survive and reach the gate, in the worst case you can´t get through the gate because Jita is blocked. So either you are crazy enough to jump into Jita, or you are smart enough to watch the whole thing from the distance.

People may ask, why the hell CCP let this situation eplode like this. Well, I´m not the right person to ask, but I know, this weekend will stay in our heads for some time.

Pro Tip for Goons: Make a safe list for undocking freighters/JF's in Jita

500 mil for 1 day pass
1,5 bil for 2 day pass

and a discounted 1,75 bil for the weekend!

Everyone on the list can undock safely!

It wasn't about kill freighters, not exactly. It's about shutting Jita down, and the outrageous TiDi going on right now works just as well. ;)

Meanwhile the high sec "pubbies" are making money away from Jita while goontards burn through their ISK in a napoleonic attempt to pretend they "rule" EVE but are actually just flying around Jita bored all day.

Its a cute event and if you manage it through May I'll actually be impressed. But 5000 sugar-addled pre-teens can only focus for so long if this "burning" lasts past the weekend it will be suprising

as for the Jita system, methinks CCP limiting Goons' effectiveness by locking the gates lower than max population to control the damage
