I'm loving this event. It's not so much "Burn Jita" as it is "Get free killmails on any/all outlaws I can target and shoot at."

You realize this isn't the Burn Jita event, which is scheduled to happen after The Mittani is unbanned, which is still several days from now.

Now there are some decent ganks in the killboard now.

And my geez look at the transport ship losses. I would say "WTF did you seriously think you can defeat the blockade in that?" except that I more suspect that they just simply don't keep up with the news.

Nope those were destroyed hours ago. I watched Jita after DT and besides one transport finally ganked the most interesting part was an idiot trying to pod me in a noobship.

Goons. stop being cheap. Use those Tier 3s right! I saw freighter after freighter get away. And I KNOW you are trying to be cheap because I saw your ship scanners at work on every one.

This is not burning jita goons. This is a "Hi we want to pad the killboard" showing.

Stop being cheap and shut down jita already!

Folks, this was only a couple hundred Goons... And they weren't going all out.

Tidi still hit 20, even with local never going much above 2000.

That's impressive news - With a small showing, the Goons slowed Jita to a crawl. If they manage to merely double that number of Goons, what will we have..?

If tidi weren't so huge, I expect that a lot more kills would've happened. Frankly, my assessment is that the spectators made things much worse than they'd have otherwise been - I know, I was one of them. All of us zooming (crawling) about trying to ninja the wrecks were probably using up more resources than the all sides of the actual fight + Condord, combined.

I'm going on the record right here to say that I was wrong - the Goons can, and very likely *will,* severly gimp Jita for so long as they care to continue. It may be death by ice instead of death by fire, but they've got the demonstrated capacity to make it happen.

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short. But scream it at them in Esperanto, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

Goon fcs decided it was lopsided to give so many free kills in their null sec wars and not spread the love to high sec.

Hence they decided to ingnite themselves in jita.
