In Germany there is a saying: "If it´s for free it´s without worth". (also: "If you buy cheap you´ll buy twice").

Filling up slots with contracts (you talking about different clients i guess). Sounds more like you just let your "clients" pay for your entertainment... and you don´t realy care about your clients need.

I have to admit that you get a quite nice ammount of kills. At least from those poor guys. Haven´t seen a kill (or a loss) against your 2nd contract (and, if you were able to fill up your last wardec slot, neither on the 3rd).

IMO there is something wrong - no idea what it is. Maybe because there is "professional" written all over the place. (HINT: You advance from hobby or semi-prof to prof by getting payed for what you do).

How TOTALLY unexpected to see Cannibals trolling my thread.

Allow me to both enlighten and fill you in on the details that will completely nullify any statement and claim you just made.

ArrowOur slogan reads WE DONT NEED YOUR ISK, ALL WE NEED IS AN EXCUSE.

Why do we only charge a dec fee? Because Malum is a PvP corp and not every corp out there is the same.
Some people dont want to PvP or train themselves for it just to fend off hoodlums messing up their mining OP once in a blue moon.
Thats where we come in. And why charge more than just the dec fee?

AttentionDamn right clients pay for our entertainment!

A contractor pays for our dec, and we get to shoot people. Simple right? Win win.
And you know the nifty and cool part of it all? Our clients have *always* been satisfied front to back.
It's as simple as that.
But since we just want to shoot people, we do not accept POS bashing contracts.

That way, when we get hired, there will be hell brought upon the members of whatever corp or alliance that harrassed the contractor.
They hire us for bloody affairs, not de-industrialising corps.
And bloody affairs means not just scoring 15 Ibis kills in a first contract over a timespan of 5 days.

AttentionContract killing.

Indeed, no kills on our 2nd contract since the refounding. As any merc worth more than 15 kills can tell you, not every deal results in or includes killing.
This contract didnt result in kills. Did we fail? HELL NO.
They were docked the entire dec, and we had a good time simultaneously speaking to a very pleased contractor and talking other affairs on comms.
Not only this, their member base dimished during the dec - people left the corp.
I'd consider that a job pretty well done, and more importantly - so did the contractor.

TO CONCLUDE YOUR POOR ATTEMPT AT TROLLING MY CLEAN BUSINESS THREAD CHAP:

Arrow If you want to troll mercs, make sure you're up to snuff yourself.

I mean, speaking of pleasing contractors and general succes is something I in your shoes would probably refrain from.
We have a casual dec against your contracted corp.
You score what? 15 kills?
We walk away with 62 in a timespan of 2 nights yet we are not obligated to kill. You are. Auch.
I cant even remember when ive seen you near your merc targets - o wait! Yes i did, its immortalised in your very own merc thread.
Try to practice some patience, devotion to the task at hand and being more on top of the merc game.
Maybe then, JUST maybe I might be able to respect your opinion of us in this thread.

Arrow Saying something is wrong.

You are SO right.
You barging in here trolling us with your exceptional historical record of merc work really seems a little off. Dont you think?

Thanks for the bump though.

- I think my passion is misinterpreted as anger sometimes. And I don't think people are ready for the message that I'm delivering, and delivering with a sense of violent love.

Did i claim anywhere that you are bad at killing people? I don´t think so.
Did i claim i´m uber pro wtfbbq? If so, please point me to it.

Shorter version of previous post:

Why do you call yourself MERC? As you don´t take payments for what you do. Wouldnt Privateer fit a lot better?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Letter_of_marque

And it´s most likely not because merc might sound more "badass".

As a conlusion for your response:

You might take yourself to serious (aka: not everyone is out there to sithpost in your threads).

And on a serious note:

The hoodlum would like to mess up more of those tasty mining ops for sure. It´s just you have to kill (sometimes) what moves right before your neutron- blasters. I´m pretty sure you know what I´m talking about (substract t1 frigs from your kills and see whats left over). A kill is a kill (noobships and shuttles are a different story - but you never know whats in them!).

The Orca-Kill (mining op you mentioned) made the client payout a bonus.

I am glad that you cleared that up us, thx. So, you did not say that we were not good at killing people in game, and you did not claim to be at all, in any way, uber and pro. So why are you posting? To say that we need to charge more? Well, I do understand that our services are valuable, but we have elected to go with dollar store rates instead.

Why?

We are preparing for Inferno too, just like what your spineless CEO claims(see post 19 and onward) , it is just that we are going about it differently. When it goes live our rates will be DIRT CHEAP because becoming an ally will be free. See what I did there? We are out for blood, murder, death, mayhem, chaos, and making a name for ourselves, not profit. I will understand if you cannot appreciate what it means to be truly out for blood, in place of say, just wanting really pretty KB stats to fap over while you're sitting on a station's undock. That's ok, allot of people play the game that way, as your spinless CEO noted, and this is the way that we play ours.

We are glad that you are content with your "legion-sitting-at-the-undock-of-a-carebear-station-all-day--services" that, apparently, costs more then our services, which include, an ever growing fleet of every Tech I, Tech II & Tech III ship under the sun, all flown by extremely active pilots who are happy to log in everyday and fly across the gameboard in search of the their previously mentioned blood lust.

You should be proud that you charge more then we do? Right? Erhmmmm....

Well at any-rate thx for the free bumps on a Friday! I might be careful though...keeping your cheaper competitor at the top all day may prove to not be good for business.

Ask your local and friendly spineless African Terrorist, and then plead him to Wardec Malum Crusis so all of you can shut Eternum up and teach him a lesson. I already asked Aesheera to wardedc you, but he said no because you will never undock and it is a waste of a slot. I understood, but I did sadface.

But I assure you, if you wardec us and come to fight... we most certainly will undock, and unload white Void all over your face.

Says Mr uwai223 of Sigillum Militum Xpisti Shocked LOL.

FYI it is "almost Latin" but not quite. We wanted to mix it up a little bit. I might say that your name however looks like a cat walked across your keyboard and accidentally pressed enter.

That's why I am asking.
So, is it supposed to mean leg or cross? Because a corp named Bad Leg sure has the potential to be a Merc powerhouse.

You forgot to quot this part, here ya go.
However, I don't think that you can petition changes to character names, even if a cat did do that by accident.

To Answer Your Question

If I recall, I think Malum in se Cruise means evil cross or something, my Latin is rusty. That however sounded meh, so we went with slang instead, and it may very well translate to bad leg. TBH, we don't really care. But I surmise that correcting Latin grammar is even more win then correcting English grammar on a gaming forum. So I guess you win.

Thx for the 5th bump of the day, Mr uwai223 of Sigillum Militum Xpisti, complaining about weird Latin names.

Crucis means cross, cruris means leg, crusis however doesn't mean anything. This is not acceptable for my latin OCD. Just so you know.

Bad Leg still is a ******* awesome name.
