A 20% improvement of T2 over T1 is typical.

CCP may at one time expected to add medium and large tractors to fill out the list. Now, maybe "small tractor beam" should just be renamed "tractor beam".

Just grab the mission payload when you are in your mission ship, go turn in the mission, get the rest of the loot with the noctis, warping directly to the bookmarks.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong but I've got a MWD fitted to my lvl 4 mission ship and it gets me around pretty quick once the NPCs are gone. I don't use this method to salvage though (just to get to mission objectives quicker)
