You come into a thread assuming the poster is looking to bash your site and immediately begin to attempt to defame and discredit the OP rather than simply stating your point and argument and adding valid points of reason to your post. Sounds like shady business to me. And though yes I do play on Somerblink (http://cogdev.net/blink) my first action isn't to attack you but to inform other players of lurking issues and potential security concerns.

Given that we have several players currently whom cannot account for the actions of their characters posting into many forms of "secured / intel" only channels and virus/malware scans are being undertaken no action aside from a statement of possible security concerns has been posted. CCP has been notified of said concerns and we do await their response on this issue. Until such a time as CCP clears the actions on the accounts my skepticism shall remain for your site. The same concerns occurred with blink and many other "lottery" sites in the past. If your site truly is one of the few "good" ones, then let it prove itself and let CCP do an investigation to confirm it.

As a minimal recommendation you may wish to register with Verisign or any of the other myriad of web safety certification authorities.

The virus has become self-aware and is using infected accounts to post on the forums.

People hate bots. You use, or at least encourage their use, everywhere. Thus, people hate you. A lot.

Or I dont know, you could stop rewarding people for shitting up chat channels with pointless annoying crap, had one of these retards in our home system yesterday and pretty much every member of our alliance who checked the link had their antivirus scream at them. So **** this idiot and his shady dealings.

I thought you had no idea about who spammed your links?

Now you claim to know, then you should have a fairly easy task to show that you do not support the use of scripts/bots to spam your links and maybe take actions against them?

I'm not out to get your site or its content, I'm just one of those pilots who are very annoyed by the explosion of spamming users that clutter up local and other channels with their spam.

Also, here's the list of users that has been linking your site in the past day in Jita and Amarr, and how many times they posted it - most bots or not... I'll let each one judge themselves

I hate this horrid spam in local for one,
does nothing for advertisement in my case, it just makes me block the spammers and move on.

2nd, the name reminds me of a greek restaurant in a shady backhand corner of a small town,
which advertises cheap food and lots of it,
but does not mention in its advertisement that after attending it you will spend about 3 days projectile vomiting.

3rd.. this thread made me see what my virus scanner would tell me if i asked it to check it out,
it gave me a bit fat warning :)
