Escelation patching problem/repair tool failure

im getting the same problem as alot of other people, i initially tried updating eve, which kept failing at 35.3% repair tool also repeatedly failed at stage 4/7.

i tried manually patching which also failed.

ive now unistalled and reinstalled eve. it had an error installing. repair tool "fixed it". start client click play it gives me the,"eve client corrupt, etc" warning. if i try repairing it downloads the same 3.08mb patch everytime. then on client start downloads the same patch again then seems to be fine at the launcher until i click play.

i pay for data usage and so far with the complete download and all the manual patching etc has cost me £30 quid in downloads, im extremely pissed off with this.

thanks for any help.

a complete re download is out of the question since it costs me about £18 on its own to do this. and thats alcahol money.

doesn't sound good, but i think you already know you have to bite the bullet and rebuild from scratch
download it at your workplace, neighbor or elsewhere, nowadays there's tons of free wifi everywhere

what's your ISP? data plans are lame, maybe change to an unlimited rate? surely you must have thought about that already.

im in the army on a base in the middle of knowhere. they haven't seen fit to install any sort of internet for the blokes so most of us use three internet mifi's.

theres no unlimited rate for three :/ bastards.

if someone finds a fix that doenst include me completely downloading it again then thatll be immense.
