Fact is, if Goons were to successfully interdict Jita, then "Jita" would simply move to another system such as Amarr. Jita just happens to be the most popular stop for items. Jita is not necessarily always the cheapest or easiest to access. GSF represents a very small fraction of the EVE playerbase. They don't have anywhere near the numbers to cause enough of a disruption to prevent anybody from getting what they need. Unless that person is an idiot and doesn't bother to look around a bit.

Actually, it is threatened now that CCP is ow- er, partnered with Sony. CCP's bottom line and ability to attract people affects those who play Dust. If new people hear eve is a griefer paradise and no one can do anything, the large and wealthy instant gratification crowd won't have mommy and daddy open their wallets for subscriptions.

That means less money, all because some griefers aren't happy about people not playing their way.

Not really, no.

The Dust 514 marketing is already planned and budgeted for at this point, and once it's launched, any money Soney makes from the deal is due to Dust's success, no EVE's. Beyond that, Dust's success is contingent on itself, not on whether the Goons create a good community-run event right now will have just about zero impact.

Sony's connection to EVE is nil.

People post on alts because they have that choice and when you get idiots that take what happens on the forums into the game you can't blame them. I certainly don't blame them for using alts.

This is not an alt btw, although that doesn't really matter in my case.

Wouldn't a death list be a violation of the eula? As I recall.... Griefing in general is fine,it is part of eve. However, repeated harassment of an individual is a bannable offense. I thought, but could be wrong, that if you kept following a character, constantly war deccing any corp they join or constantly killing them, you could be banned.
