That depends how they do it, they can effectively stop you playing on a character unless you like market trading and never have to leave the station. Just depends how vindictive they want to be.

I read how the goonies and pets were going to take out their frustrations on everyone that made caustic remarks at their expense. I don't see an easy way for them to do this unless they set everyone red. And, more importantly, will mitani be able to tear himself away from WOW? I understand he actually got his main to level 85 and has been learning how to raid with his guild.

I just hope they don't pick on me. But, I can't resist flying to Jita and salvaging all the goonies and pets ships that come to play in empire.

What is funny, though, is how people have a hard time keeping the chronology of four different events straight, even though they happen months apart.

I think its pretty clear to anyone with an ounce of common sense, that if the Goons really did do that, en-mass, then CCP would likely step in and rectify the situation. They don't care what the Goons do as long as it doesn't affect their bottom line, which is just as it should be. EVE is working as intended, the way it always has, nothing the Goons do will ever really matter in the long run, because they still have to play within the rules that CCP lay down.

I say let them have their fun, and if people don't like it they can do one of two things, they can fight or they can eff off.

Yes I know he "planned" it months ago. As everyone is saying, doesn't change the new developments. Also the point isn't solely when it happened but that it is happening. I have seen many guilds like goons in other games. It is a passing phase. People eventually get tired of being titled a douchebag and move on. One thing I can agree on though is how serious people are taking this. Goons can alter a lot of the game but it isn't like they can control 100% of null sec or fix the price of every item in the marketplace.

I'm afraid the OP has a point. If the Goons are successful in making ships unaffordable for anyone not in the CFC, then why would people carry on playing a spaceship game?
