I call it survival of the fittest.

I prefer the term "Quality Control."

"Those who cannot adapt become victims of Evolution."

The issue with the idea of of "breaking Highsec-players routines (for their own good, of course)" is that most of them are mentally so close to the mining/ratting bots they employ that any sudden change to their routine makes them break down.

Highsec is pretty much populated by Kaspar Hausers, except with astroid belts instead of a wooden horse.

If griefing is really this much of a problem for you, why don't you move to the PvE shard? It's a beautiful land called Singularity, and I think you'll fit in nicely there. Nobody is allowed to pod you, and nothing you do matters at all.

Not true.

I've been in 4 Null sec alliances. They all lost thier space in 6 months and I ended up back in high sec.

Wait, are you sure I can't join GSF? Twisted

I've not lived in highsec since I started playing 3 years ago.

You're doing it wrong.

what is the problem with Death Squad anyway?
1. You get killed by DS
2. They let you know "you're a target"
3. You get killed again by DS
4. They let you know "you're a target"
...
5. Killmail + chat logs/mail => CCP. DS is banned for "griefing" (or what is the name of personal pursuit in EULA?).
...
6. Profit

The single-shard universe of this game would be dynamic, shaped by player actions, with deep and complex gameplay mechanics giving birth to a multitude of behavioral patterns, which in turn form living subcultures totally unique to the virtual universe of this game.

Sounds cool, right?

Now imagine this game has no Evil. No Horde. It's so mature and realistic, that "evil" and "good" are just shades of neutral. Terrible actions can be justified. It's farmable NPCs are so faceless and stupid, that you couldn't really hate or fear them. People engage in minor conflicts, some over territory, most just for thirst of blood.

Then a creative player enters the field. He dreams big, and has worked tediously to achieve a position where he has the resources to make these dreams real in the game universe. What is his dream?

... his dream is lolz
and stroking his ego

Good job helping him btw

almost forgot; breaking the game you like to play so that when/if the company running the game every punishes him for his actions and the actions of his friends to SAVE the game it can only be called a Phyrric victory. To save the game they have to break the game. Its a win/win for him and a lose/lose for us.

this lose/lose for those of us that actually like the game but win/win for those who only derive pleasure from its destruction. Funny how often Im seeing that "people that cant tell in game from out" is coming up now.

FYI, all pubbies in high-sec are a target. Are you saying since our target is the pubbie whining population, we are griefing them thus a violation of the EULA?

You mean we can't have month long wardecs on people? Odd, I thought that is what the system was for, not for 1 day Orphanage wardecs so they can sit in Jita.

Never NOT kill BoB. The multi-generational conflict.

Many cohorts of newbies have grown up to tales of BoB and gotten themselves on a lady scarlet killmail. Heck, I got blown up recently, and she was on my scorpion's killmail What?

So you're going to ban any and all people in a corp/alliance attacking people in highsec if they focus on a singular person?

Good motherfucking luck enforcing that.

Your highsec carebear bleating amuses me. In regards to the posts about hiding behind alts? You are the ones hiding behind CCP and think yourselves mighty. Standing on the shoulders of giants, you think yourselves tall. You think this is about CCP? No. This is a joyride. Tenal fell in less than half a month. Why not burn Jita just for fun? It's not an exploit, and it's not forcing CCP to do anything. People have been sitting in the heart of highsec crying for CCP to come and hurt the big bad CFC who weren't playing nice in the sandbox. Now we're coming to your corner of the sandbox to break your toys.

But the bots should be used to getting blown up. So used to it, they forget to even get a new ship and warp their pod to the belt Shocked
