Other than it's bonus it's kinda useless, what little M3 drops from level 4s now I may as well go back to using a destroyer..

Whomever is making the last few years decisions on what changes are to be implemented in this game, must hate Eve with all their being.

last time i checked, noctis doesn't have bonus to cargohold. people use noctis for tractor beam range+speed and faster salvager cycles.

Tractor beam range is reason enough to use it.

It could still be made a bit more useful/versatile.

Give it the PG of Tier 1 cruisers, and 8 turret slots-

Now you can use it as a Lulz gunboat, or a miner

Might as well throw in a 25m3 drone bay too, for mining drones if you wish to use it in a secondary miner role, or combat drone if you wish to lulz combat fit the thing.

No. it is a salvage boat. and is damn good at it aswel.

added to that it can also carry some loot.

Hell, let it use doomsday devices too. Because that's totally relevant to its role as a salvager. Roll

If the OP thinks a destroyer is anywhere near as useful for general salvage purposes he needs to have his head examined.

Whether or not you win the game matters not.  It's if you bought it.

The noctis is one of the few ships in the game with the fortunate position of being extremely good at what it does without being completely OP since its role gives nobody an edge in pvp activities. (Unless of course you're into competetive salvaging, which is just weird).

Ill trade you a salvaging dessie of your choice for that noctis, if you don't want it anymore.

I used to have a clever sig but I lost it.

Noctis is the shiz, slurpin' up them wrecks. I think it's also one of the best executed ship models in the game. It just looks like it was built to do exactly what it does. It's a heavy, industrial working vessel. Reminds me of the Nostromo from Alien.

Excellent. Then you can fit something more interesting in those low slots than cargo expanders, and have it tag along more easily (and more quickly) on more risky business.

Noctis is still an awesome ship, but with the lessened amount of m3 drops I would recommend maybe adding more tank to it by removing the unnecessary cargo capacity in the lows and adding a damage control 2 and some armor perhaps.

What's funny is that everyone in this thread thinks the OP is really talking about the Noctis as a ship.

In all honesty I thought this thread would be locked by now cuz I was kinda trolling.. And tired.. Had a few beers.. No useful content etc..

A agree the Noctis is awesome at what it does, I will prolly use the lows for tank or nanos or who knows but will never go back to using a destroyer for salvaging..

The salvaging ships are going to get fat when burn jita happens.
