People get too comfortable and familiar with routine. Most of us are habitual by nature. Unfortunately for them the only thing certain is change.

i started out on eve as miner and never new the world outside of indy: i chose to try out new things and fell in love with pvp and since then ive done it everyday .. baically my point is you wont know you like something till you try it out.

The issue being: What of you do try the other things, find you do not like them, fall back to what you do like, and then it gets taken away?

Though this may be true, you are not factoring in training time. I have a character with 28 mil skill points. He has about 9000 skill points in gunnery, 0 in missile. He cannot mine either. What he can do is haul, invent most every module, and even build super caps. If invention and manufacturing were nerfed, this character would lose his value. So yes, he can start cross training, i. A few years he will be a great carrier pilot. However, until then his value is limited and certain changes could render him useless, which would bother me.

The price is too low. It doesn't really say "Pay a fair price and get some quality sexy time in return", but more like "The only thing you're going to get from this is disappointment and a STD".

CCP ran my money maker into the ground 5 years ago -- making custom warp to zero bookmark routes from high to deep null for alliances and such..

Terrible thread.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

If you make a living in EVE helping others work around a UI annoyance, you are not allowed to complain if CCP fixes that UI annoyance.

People are limited to what they want to do.

For instance I have no interest any longer in mining, not mined for years other than getting 999 veldspar for a mission. Also no interest in trade characters any longer.

I really hope CCP removes ability for external programs to read EVE cache. (e.g. encrypt the cache)

Would make trading more "interesting". Roll
