Crash when trying to dock

Gah.

Patched fine to escalation. It runs. I jumped 10 jumps. Now I'm stuck. I crashed warping to a station to dock. Now, when I log in, when it finishes my "logoff warp" the client crashes. Skipping the full register dump, here's the crash info:

It crashes when client loads tech3 cruiser model, and several other models as well.

What graphics card and driver do you have?

I am still looking for people with Intel and ATI cards. This could be an issue with the Nvidia drivers.

Confirming some issues with that. Client crashed when entering a crowed system twice. When going out of warp after re-login, it freezes again. Then it works, jumping to a station and freezes again. Last messages from the shell:

That has the potencial to be a very nasty problem. NVIDIA on F16 here.

I get this crash as well and use an ATI with fglrx 12.1.

Try update driver to 12.3 - I have r6900 with 12.3 driver.

I have this problem too, same instruction ("testb $0x1,0x4" - how ironic since I'm in TEST!).

Kubuntu 11.10 64-bit, nvidia 280.13-u6.1 (latest in distro), run of the mill Phenom CPU and GTX 560Ti GPU.

A workaround is to warp-back from e-warp with the map open. you have time to dock/do what you want without having to show the troublesome models.

Totally unacceptable in most situations, but it could help at least dock up.

I think the culprit change is this:

  1. Map workaround didn't work out for me - still crashed with a Legion on the overview (I'm outside Jita 4-4 :(
  2. It is unlikely that they have only changed the file format for T3 ships or that the file format has something to do with texture format. So far it seems it crashes in python.dll not in the driver.

It's not too bad for me. I get a crash every once in a while, but it's still annoying nonetheless. Hopefully the devs will get this sorted out soon enough.

I have it problem too
Small solution: when you warp on jita IV - moon 4 (or were you crash), press F10. then docking on station (or jump via star gate) . Work for me.

I have 2 computer
windows 7 x6
core 2 duo E8400 (3.2)
Geforce 560 ti 2 g
8 gb RA
And
ubuntu 11.10 x6
core i5 (3.0)
Geforce gtx 260 1 g
8 gb RA

on windows it see as: fly...fly...fly...LAG, fly... -> dock on station
on linux it see as: fly...fly...fly...Crash, Evil
