From what I saw of the overview this morning the fading and such either never went in, or is much better than what I last saw on sisi. Very nice so far, but I won't get to play with it much till tomorrow Sad

Patch notes says that text will only fade if there is icon on top of it (e.g. warp scrambling icon).

UI sounds are VERY quiet now. I literally cannot hear hardly any of them and they're the only reason I really play Eve with sound (tactile audio feedback.)

Example: Menu sounds, or the fitting window sounds are very quiet.

if you haven't, check the mixer settings in windows. I've been noticing that Eve has been at times dropping it's mixer volume to minimum (I'm assuming it's a bug as corpmates have noticed the same). Hopefully that's the fix, and not an actual change. Like you I keep my volume doing the same.

Yeah I checked that. It's still at 100%.

On the contrary, they're still missing some relatively common items...implants, to be exact, which include:

Michi's Excavation Augmentor
Akemon's Modified 'Noble' ZET5000
Genolution Core Augmentation CA-1 and CA-2

The first two are cosmos implants, the second two are gifts, both are still relatively common and really ought to have market categories. I'd love to hear from CCP why they left them out.

So far everything looks awesome, but I do have one little gripe ...

The way items are now sorted in the market kinda blows. I liked it much better when, say, all of the 125mm Autocannons were grouped together. Having 125mm, 150mm, and 200mm T1 at the top, THEN sorting the named variants by type, and THEN having another 125, 150, and 200 at the bottom (for T2) makes everything more of an eyesore.

It was much cleaner and easier to digest when it was sorted by type.

Phenominal work overall, though. You get an eyepatch! Pirate

Whether or not you win the game matters not.  It's if you bought it.

Also rare ship "Apocalypse Imperial" (only 3 in game) has been on market for some time while "Raven State Issue" (only 4 in game) is not. So there doesn't seem to be much logic about which rarer items are on market and which are not.

Confirming that EVE started fine on my PC at the first attempt after update.

I LOVE the Meta 0 loot drop elimination. Have just run Enemies Abound 1 of 5 in my Marauder, and no Cap Booster Charges appeared in any of the wrecks! We really can use the 'Loot All' button with impunity now!!

Thank you CCP!

Big smile

UPDATE: Just finished the above Enemies Abound mission chain in da Golem. Absolutely brilliant now you have eliminated cap charges from NPC wrecks. Thanks again CCP.

Change readout on HUD to what it was before, get rid of those lines pointing to the shield, armour and hull (like i don't know which ones are which anyway...)

One problem I have found is when copying from Transactions into Excel, the Credit table carries over the String "isk". This means excel spams out and I have to delete the "isk" when i should be adding them up.

Solution:

1)Allow users to toggle the ISK string on and off.
2) Get rid of the isk string in the Credit table...

Anyhoo, enjoing the new tweeks to the UI.

Cheers A.I.

T1 ammo and combat drones are still dropping (at least from belt rats). Looks like you missed those when adjusting the loot tables.

In the market, items are now grouped by metalevel but not sorted correctly and for some reason, the Electronics, Engineering, Offensive and Propulsion subsystems aren't sorted by alphabet.

Also, I'm getting absolutely no tooltips in the market.

I was worried after what I experienced on Sisi in regards of performance prior to the TQ release but oh wow you guys prove me wrong again.

Give you techy team a pay rise like now! The client seems so much faster to respond I guess it may of been the graphic file format change or what ever it was that has made this difference. Currently a huge +1 on first impressions from me and I am not someone who is easily pleased.

‘No, this isn't it at all. Make it more... psssshhhh’.

Shouldn't this patch show applied effects?

I am running gang links but I don't see the icons on the bonused ships.

I believe the current version only shows when you're receiving negative effects (Web, Warp Disruption/Scramble, Nos, Neut, Tracking Disruption, Sensor Damp, Jam). EDIT: forgot Target Painters

What I miss is to lock an aggressing target by the new icons with ctrl-left-button instead of a contextual menu only.

I hope they'll add the positive buffs too, so I can quickly eyeball whether the fleet composition is properly giving the best buffs.
All the other MMOs display positive buffs (usually in a second row) on the group members anyway.

Can you change the shield armour hull readouts back to its original position its annoying how it is now.

These lines telling people what the numbers refer to are an eye saw put a S A H next to it instead of these silly lines we are not children.
