The sad part with this tho; for years we asked CCP to introduce some ship models the geeks could buy and display to their imaginary girlfriends. Then CCP gave us these Megathrons etc, big ones, look awsome - but holy hell they cost a shitloads. So noone wants to buy them, mantlepiece is fine but sheez, has to be some limits..

In steps Lego Rifter, pretending to be awsome. Suddenly CCP cuts a deal to sell these (and maybe more) to the players, but z0mg, but in the end greedCCP will be asking several years worth of gametime to buy it, and equal sum for shipping.

I agree, one last push to get this going would be great! Would be a good source of revenue for CCP if it kicked off!

EDIT

I had presumed the lego stuff would be available to buy from lego also, not just CCP, their not just being made to order are they? That would suck.

I agree about the models, it;s a shame they cost so much, really mostly for delivery

I was reluctant to also as i dont like spam on my page or coming into my email. but i signed up to it ages ago and have not once received any spam or links showing up on my facebook and didnt get any email spam either.

You don't **have** to sign in with Facebook. Just sign up normally - FB is only a convenience thing.

I think I should clarify my hate: adding cool things like the models, potential lego frigates, j!nx t-shirts and whatnot is all cool and funky etc. It's just that CCP has a major history of screwing it up, as mentioned by me and another guy above: mainly via the shipping cost.

They also tend to do weird things like this "can only vote via Facebook" and similar. Like releasing news on Twitter, Facebook, TenTon or similar, rather than actually using the proper existing channels they already have for player dialogues - these forums.

If there's a Lego Rifter available at a decent price, and decent shipping, I think CCP would probably be able to offload quite a few of them. But by narrowing their market (hello Dust, springs to mind), they are not making it easy for themselves. Highlighting this may hopefully change things for the better, for the future.

I made a new account with cusoo itself, so you don't have to use facebook. You can just make an account there and vote.

Never got any spam of it, not even concerning the stuff I voted for.

Just chiming in that you dont need a facebook accoount, just register an account directly with Cusoo like Ciar said and you can add a like without ever going near facebook.

When i signed in there wasn't a FB option or if there was it was pretty much hidden or I'd have used it right away. Signing in through the lego site is just ... arrrrrg .. there are so many hoops to jump through before you can actually click Like. Im sure if there wasn't so much trouble with signing up, the damn thing would have 50,000 likes already
