Calibration seems a bit useless right now. It is not currently possible to ever have calibration issues when fitting a Medium or Large Citadel.

Ah yes an ex-NOHO salt post, why am I not surprised. I forgot about the amazing CSM that your alliance gave us (corbexx) who went to goons straight away and told everyone he had "alts in wormhole corps" like that was meant to make it completely ok.

Time for someone who is actually active in wormholes to give it a go I think.

We had King TwoStep (hes my boo)

Yes, I am clearly better than the false idol (corbexx)

I'd like to know if you will be promising to quit your job to CSM full time this time around, as you claimed you would do last time.

I want to have a voice in the eventual revamp of capital escalations. You might be surprised but I do think the current method is a bit lucrative. CCP needs someone in their corner that has been doing it for years to get it just right.

I want to always bring to the table “Hey that is going to affect wormholers and here is why”. For instance I want Capitals to always have a balanced place in combat and PvE. Broad changes to Eve needs to always have someone double checking the repercussions for W-space.

I'd like to know more about your feelings on capital escalations. You say they are "a bit lucrative", and I can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not. What sorts of changes would you like to see?

I'd also love to hear more about your feelings on capital ships, given the announced plans.

When I was on the CSM, I basically said just that. Nullsec PvE should be group based, just like wormhole PvE used to be. You have to be in a group to take space in nullsec, why should you be able to make isk solo (and mostly risk free)?

The whole article reaks of someone who just became bored with the game and too bitter to have a go at something different.

The article pretty much has no substance at all to any of his arguments that it just comes off like a crying teenager that just got dumped by their boyfriend and can't look at another boy at the mall.

Seriously keep playing Ark Two Step and don't come back.

I have done just about all there is to do in EVE, from highsec industry to nullsec. The whole article is about that the issue is not "I need something to do" but that when I do stuff to other people, they should care. That is what sets EVE apart from other games, and it is getting watered down every day.

    Also, wtf is Ark?

Also, I love how your next post is basically agreeing with everything I said. I have no problem with capital escalations that take 10 or 15 people and some time to complete, so people have a chance to jump those people.

Those guys just leave, because a dystopian society makes for a great thing to read about, not to live through.

Uh, I lived through this. I have gotten so damn mad at this game so many times back in the past. My problem is that people don't get mad anymore. If you haven't done exactly what I described, you aren't playing EVE right.

  • Dev blog: Citadels, sieges and you v2 in EVE Information Center

I like the wormhole changes, but I do think people should have somewhat safer options, perhaps tied to the class of space and also to size of citadel. Maybe let medium citadels in C1-3 have some partial loot safety (perhaps only the build a new citadel to have the items delivered option), so people can still be hit, and they would have to stick around to get their stuff back.

Also, as suggested above, a minimum average DPS to reset the repair timer seems totally reasonable to me.

  • Dev blog: I feel safe in Citadel city in EVE Information Center

Half of the impound fees should be paid to the player that landed the final blow on the citadel. There should be an incentive to go blow up a very very full citadel, and you should get more than a couple of citadel guns for doing so.

  • Dev Blog: Shake my Citadel in EVE Information Center

    A couple of questions:

    1) Will the same loot mechanics apply to w-space as k-space versions?
    2) It sounds like there is no unanchor timer, right? So once I wait out the vulnerability timer, I can scoop the structure, right?
    3) What happens to the stuff inside when I do this?
    4) Will there be tools to enable structure owners to monitor/remove stuff kept in the structure for when they want to take it down?
    5) Any provision to enable players to check activity levels from the outside, especially in w-space?
    6) Any chance of more details on the "invulnerability link"? What sorts of radius are you thinking? I assume invulnerable ships will be unable to target anything, just like current FF mechanics?

  • Dev blog: Alliance Logos & You - Submissions Re-Opened! in EVE Information Center

Edit: Ignore this part, missed the grandfathering part

Also, I assume the 250 person count doesn't care about subscription status. What is to stop one from making an alt corp full of trial accounts and using that to get alliances over the 250 person limit? What happens if an alliance drops under 250 people after their logo is approved?

  • [New structures] Mooring and docking features in EVE Technology and Research Center

Can CCP folks clarify what their thinking is for w-space docking/mooring? It is very difficult to give any feedback without information on basic use like this.

  • Dev blog: Politics by Other Means: Sovereignty Phase Two in EVE Information Center

Suggestions for addressing the timezone issues:

    1) Expand the window to 8 hours
    2) If you pick a 4 hour window, you also get a 2 hour window 10 hours from the end of your chosen window. This would mean that a US TZ window would have an opposite time that would be RUS friendly and an EU window would have AUS friendly times.

  • Dev blog: Politics by Other Means: Sovereignty Phase Two in EVE Information Center

It seems like this approach is reasonable, though the proposed timers seem really short to me.

I do wonder about doing things like this without also proving some incentive to actually hold sov at the same time (or before the sov mechanics changes). At the very least, CCP should be publishing a little more future roadmap details, like for example is a reward rebalance even planned?

  • Dev blog: Opportunities Abound - The New Player Experience in EVE Information Center

No rewards seems like an odd decision. At the very least, completing an opportunity should point you towards a way to make ISK at the end using the skills you have learned.

Why not have them give a module that will help the player do more of what they just learned to do? Finish the mining one, get an extra mining laser, market one and get a market skillbook, etc?
