OMG, just get the book into the house and nicely displayed. On a bookshelf, spine upright and vertical. So a house cat can come shred the spine doing that claws-stretching thing.

More likely to be "accidentally" knocked off the bookshelf onto the floor by the cat.

So the dog, now a member of Code, can once again claim its position as an elite PvPer by destroying even more defenseless ships.

This way the cat looks innocent but still picks up the assist.

    Evil

If an agent manages to land a gank on you, it means you weren't following The Code, which is a permit violation.

    Exactly.

You help a scheme of extortion instead of helping miners..... Same as CODE is asking for money in highsec. You should whine at the renters not at the game itself.

While I agree that it is completely appropriate to compare the ownership of space of a sov holding alliance to the ownership of Highsec of the New Order (CODEsov), how in the world is 10mil ISK for the access to all of Highsec resources for a full year extortion? I mean how does that compare to renting a single system for billions of ISK per month?

    Plz....

Also, I thought licenses only lasted a month.

Perhaps that's some kind of message...maybe that's her way of saying "I love you," or "Foolish human...you're the pet in this house and I am you're owner. Never forget that."

    I have an idea.

Have the Jove randomly sweep in and blow up everyone's ships in a selected region. If nothing else, it would make for some great threads.

    Mr Epeen Cool

Actually I would love to see Sov Null under attack by masses of hot dropping NPCs or mass gate jump ins.

Now that would be fun, having to combat, lawless space against something unpredictable and large and when I say large I mean enough NPCs to create TiDi.

Well there are overheads such as power and the internet.

Plus lets not forget the opportunity cost of actually paying for an omega.

Honestly the solution is actually rather simple.

Have the anomalies detect capitals or super and then have a massive drop of high damage, low bounty NPCs onto the Carrier or super. So they have to flee or go BOOM!!

This will make carriers an supers sit in docks. Not sure if this is what you want. Lol

Like others pointed it will hurt droppers and hunters the most. Because you know - killing afktar is not as fun as killing carrier.....

So yes, you WILL nerf PvPers too.

The fact that Sov is a joke is the main reason Carriers and Supers are sitting around and personally I would prefer a few players, losing some kills over the destruction of the economy.

Edit: Also Carriers and Supers are the problem, so you can't have them running anomalies for free because then they still wont do it. So you either destroy the economy or stop them running anomalies, you can't have it both ways.

CCP you have just made my play time almost impossible. Now with the asteroid anomoly respawn timer changes, when I get to sit down and play eve the colossal has been mined out and by the time its due to come back my few hours of eve a night is over.

Not everyone has so much time in a day to mine constantly. You really expect me to spend my whole play time looking for a system that has a colossal? Yes I could goto the other sizes, but as its safer to mine in big groups where you can get a response group, once the colossal is depleted most rorqual pilots log or go so something else while they wait for a new colossal to spawn.

I'm sick of the bloody Rorqual nerfs CCP and I demand as a paying customer with cash that you put the timers on asteroid belts back to what they were.

Yep, mining in a rorqual is the only thing to do in game. And game balance be damned.

What do you mean the game consists of more than Rorquals, Carriers and Super Carriers?

    When did this happen? Lol

  • Should i Pod my dog? in EVE Communication Center

Have you considered having the dog join CODE?

The dog has the same ability to destroy defenseless ships and the dog probably considers itself an elite PvPer as well. Lol

Honestly the solution is actually rather simple.

Have the anomalies detect capitals or super and then have a massive drop of high damage, low bounty NPCs onto the Carrier or super. So they have to flee or go BOOM!!

After the loss of a couple these ships, they will no longer be used and the problem of them in anomalies is solved.

No need to alter their PvP capabilities at all.

CCP is nerfing the right thing this time. In the past CCP usually nerfed only symptoms of a problem while ignoring the actual cause.

    For example: ...

CCP's fix: Get rid of fighter assign for EVERYONE. I never gate camped once, I used fighter assign to rat and I got nerfed too.

    Another example: ...

CCP's fix: Add frigs to Forsaken hubs, slowing them down for EVERYONE who rats. I did forsaken hubs with sub caps and didn't make 500 mil per hour and still got nerfed

THIS TIME CCP got it right. This time they looked at the game, saw that it was FIGHTER SQUADRONS...

LOL. So because you weren't nerfed this time (maybe because you don't fly a carrier in PvP?), they got it right. But all the other times when they affected someone and something else but the actual problem, and you were affected too, they got it wrong. Right?

Fighter squadrons don't **** ISK all over New Eden, exploding the money supply. Nerfing them makes as much sense as nerfing any other ship or weapon in the game. CCP is being STUPID AND LAZY with this so-called "fix." And in your short-sightedness, and in your lust to see abusers get what's coming to them, you are supporting the nonsense.

I'm not being affected either. I don't live in null sec, and I don't fly a carrier. I also don't want a bunch of goons living in Delve raking-in however many trillions of ISK per day/week/month they've been raking-in. But I also recognize you don't stupidly nerf a ship because you don't know how to fix or manage the fracking economy. IT'S STUPID.

REASONS TO NERF A COMBAT SHIP OR WEAPON IN PVP

    1) The ship or weapon is too strong in PvP.

    2) See #1.

REASONS NOT TO NERF A COMBAT SHIP OR WEAPON IN PVP

    1) Economy.

    2) PvE.

    3) Just because you feel like it.

    4) It's raining outside.

    5) Etc.

CIRCUMSTANCES TO CONSIDER BEFORE NERFING SHIP/WEAPON IN PVP

    1) PvP

    2) See #1.

CIRCUMSTANCES NOT TO CONSIDER BEFORE NERFING SHIP/WEAPON IN PVP

    1) Anything else but #1 above.

Yes but on the plus side CCP have harvested a bumper crop of tears from Null sec players. If only they could sell them.

Shame they haven't figured out that that their destruction of every other part of the game in favor of Null is the reason they had to go free to play.

Yeah after 100 pages of tears the likes of which hi-sec has never produced and why?

So 46.5% of the bounties can be gained by 6.2% of the players.

This nex pach just break this historial rule. all the nerf in this pach just is to manipulate the economy, incresin prices, decreasing global isk incoming and a no real money based injection of PLEX, is the end of the social experiment?

PD: i solt my plex and freeze my inversións until CCP stop this intervention in the Economy why sems no longer offert demand in the rule.

CCP have always controlled the amount of cash created via bounties ect and the like and the amount of cash destroyed by isk sinks.

When one is out of balance with the other it causes problems in the economy.

The biggest problem with the patch on Tuesday however is the constant whining from those who have been given boosts time and time again and now feel the sting of a nerf to their cash supply, like so much of the game has in the last decade.

You missed the parts about how decreasing the growth rate of ISK in the game is going to actually raise prices..... Shocked

Yes but you could be telling people that their Carriers and Super Carriers are a sunk cost Big smile

That was probably the most sensible change there in and the one that no one was complaining about.

fighters already get curbstomped if they stop moving for more than about 10 seconds.. 15% more aggression is not needed.

    Yeah curb stomped.

22.3% (2.3T) of the ISK was generated by 1.4% of characters earning bounties, using Supercarriers
24.2% (2.6T) of the ISK was generated by 4.8% of characters earning bounties, using Carriers

Curb stomped must mean something different where you come from.
