Wait.... I don't even know exactly what chip I have .... so ... how did you find that out?
Also .... how did I lose a core?

Remembering that I have two machines.
The oldest of the two, that I use for comms and web browsing, the one with the weaker processor, has something like this. Apparently, the motherboard can fit something called a, "Core™ 2 Quad."

    Because "DxDiag says, Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00 GHz (2 CPUs), ~3.0GHz"
Also, the one you linked to there is also below minimum requirements

    OP's cpu is this one:

This is the minimum from eve requirements:

Hi, I'm the owner of an ancient history museum, and I'd really like to talk to you about this cpu you have.

But seriously though. That thing is at best ten years old, fifteen at worst. One hyperthreaded core, between 1 and 5 years older than the minimum required specs for Eve.

  • Improving the Fitting Experience in EVE Technology and Research Center

Lets say I'm sitting in an unfit Vexor.

In my inventory I have a huge list of stuff. Like. Huge!

I right click an empty high-slot in the fitting window: BAM, dropdown-list of the most relevant modules to fit in the slot that are available in my inventory.

    *right clicks*

    [Fit to rack:]
    [Med Nutron Blaster II]
    [Med Electron Blaster II]
    [Med neut]
    [Small neut]

  • Dev blog: Download on Demand client for EVE Online in EVE Information Center

Downloaded the launcher. Install was smooth, 100MBit line, took me a couple seconds before I could play on a fresh install.

I had autoplay checked, and it started automatically.

However, the character selection was just a black screen, but the cursor changed icon when I moved around, so I just pressed the leftmost area with that cursor, and a few seconds later I showed up in station in my ship.

No problems with undocking or anything else.

  • Killmail Suggestion in EVE Technology and Research Center

On a totally unrelated note, how annoying is it that half of eve players are developers and come up with smartass solutions to problems?

  • Killmail Suggestion in EVE Technology and Research Center

Create a relation table with a list of character ID's that stores the ID's of the people on the kill. Fill the table as people are added to the kill before the kill happens, when the ID is exposed in the code, and change finalBlowCharacter to point to the relation table instead. Solves this issue and we can go on killmails even if the ship gets killed on the other side of the gate.

How hard could it be? ;)

I'm not sure how much time I'll be able to be in the thread today guys but I wanted to get it posted anyway.

The only thing I have to respond to at the moment is to confirm that the warp speed increase for the mach is exactly 50% (going up to 3). We'll probably go ahead and list this in the ship traits somehow even though it's just a base attribute since it's so unusual.

Could you confirm what the effective drones of the Rattlesnake is now?

right now the ashimmu does its role just fine. without the 90% web everything will just burn away. 2 medium armor reps? you cant be serious that wont last in any serious fight. RIGHT NOW the ashimmu is fine with 2 1600's 5 medium neuts and 1 or 2 90% webs. its perfect for switching off logi chains as we speak. the proposed change will make it useless. as all targets will litterly afterburner away from it. it has to sacrafice 2 mids for webs just to hold down a logi.

o yeah 2 reps? so what is that like 600 dps tank under links? so 2 vexor navy's will just kill you.

Two ships can kill one, color me surprised....

Webs are useless because every player in the game only fit ab's and drift away before you can kill them. This is true for every ship.

You're trolling, but just in case someone takes you seriously, No they aren't.

    Most of them are.

Saying torrents are illegal is like saying hard drives are illegal. Just because some (or most) contain illegally obtained content does not imply that the medium itself is illegal.

Just because the midget **** on my hard drive is too hardcore for some red states doesn't mean all hard drives are illegal. Cool

Tell that to Sweden. They pay extra for harddrives in a piracy fee.

If you want an answer, ask yourself this. What number exists between 1.9 repeating and 2?
