Ok, I admit it... I fail at forum searching. Is there a central thread that has fan and player (not media/press, although that's welcome as well) coverage of the event? If not, I'd like to start one because there a lot of great insight, information and discussion out there, and being able to head to one place to find a good bit of it would rock, especially if we can run it here rather than some dark recess of obscurity (Events and Gatherings).

I would like to request something, would it be possible to get the EVE forever background with the infinity loop/ thingy for our desktop? Smile

Is there any media coverage from the journos present ... like gaming websites, blogs, magazines, tv? Interested in how the fanfest is viewed by people who aren't devs or fans Big smile

I'll look into that tomorrow and, if it isn't already available, I'll see what I can do to make that happen. I think I might have put it in one of the recent Press Kits, but at my current connection speed tomorrow will get here before a 700+ Meg file does. :)

Kotaku, PCGamer, ZAM, TTH , Massively and several others have their news posted so far. I'm tempted to ask if we can name the Fanfest after an Icelandic volcano next year just so it's easier to Google this stuff. Considering our naming system lately, that just might happen.

So when is the new racial skills being introduced? The link in OP suggest ship rebalancing in Escalation to inferno in April already and nothing for Inferno in May.

Lost in EVE is doing a huge podcast as a post-fanfest wrapup.

You can always find the podcasts at: www.lostineve.net

The fanfest podcast should be episode 71 (unless it is SO huge we need to split it up. I'll come back and provide that information should that happen).

EDIT: We split the show into two parts because it ended up being 8+ hrs!

The live feeds were awesome. We had a field reporter (Togor) on site and we were able to tweet him live and have him ask questions in near real time (see the CSM round table). Great job CCP!

I did my best to cover everything DUST related on dust514.org live - Panels, Keynotes and added some videos as well too. Oh- and went deeper with the meaning of the cinematic... :) Will also post our CAST 514 episode as soon as it is done that will cover all things DUST that happened on fanfest and more.

It's not in there and those actually aren't that recent.

I have the image, but haven't been able to find a larger size for years (including asking the original creator). Will post it somehow for ya. Hit me up on EVE mail to remind me.

Hi just to say that the IZERAWarheaD Videos of the Fanfest had also the CCP present and some of the panels i could catch. Btw you can note on the OP that IZERAWarheaD is me ... I accept isk as an offer for my great efforts to release this delayed videos as fast as i could. Lol

I also here want to thank all of the CCP team for the effort they made in the Eve TV show, it was just amazing to follow the fanfest without any problem (except for personnal connection problems ^^)
