Three years ago, I started an IPO to raise some funds in order to expand upon some trading, mining and manufacturing operations in order to increase my operations in terms of size and scale. Shortly after launching the IPO, real life took over (a baby being born, amongst many other things - such as moving, a career change and others) and I quite bluntly, forgot about Eve. A couple of weeks ago, I was playing Wing Commander 3 after buying it on GOG and thought about playing Eve again.

It took me about a week to actually retrieve the login details for this account (it was linked to an email address created solely for Eve, I'd also forgotten the username), but I finally did it. I then saw some in-game mails from some of my investors regarding the IPO... and I remembered what had happened.

I of course want to make this right, and will be doing so within the next few days. As a start, I will be paying back your original investment, plus a 50% bonus as a form of dividend payment. Dividends were based on profits, of which there were none (due to my inactivity), but for now - I can at least do that and attempt to make further repayment in the near future based on negotiation with each individual investor. More than half of all creditors have now been paid back, and I will post again once the rest have been resolved.

Do I have to repeat this every 3 years? That seems like a lot of effort. And... thrustworthy? Do I thrust more?

Bah, I defaulted. If I was going to scam people I would of done it for more than 2B~ ISK.

It's great because you get to "even up" with the <20% of players who are still active.

Oh, I'll be evening up with all players regardless, and sending additional funds as a dividend backpayment.
