wow... thinking of updating graphics AGAIN? dont get me wrong, im all for it, but i JUST DROPPED a crud of money for a factory-overclocked gtx 560 ti... gonna have tog et a new card if theya dd in tesselation adn whatnot. (and im guessing my 8 gigs of ram and quad-core processor will need to be upgraded too, bummer)

Tessellation with DivX 11 was most noticeabley supported from a performance point of view with the Geforce GTX 400 series. But earlier cards will still be able to support it.

Yes. Later. Fix ship balance, module balance, UI renovation, sov renovation, corp management including stocks, null/low/highsec balance, FW, bounties, mining, and incursion isk faucet first.

Then spend all the time you want on graphics. I won't mind a bit.

It was from the Eve TV stream of Fanfest. They'll probably have it all on youtube on Monday.

game mechanics personell =/= art department, SOV, bounties and the liek woudlnt require the art department in any meaningful way, so this would not effect development for those areas.

in other words, they should start work now so that we have it by next summer.

The awesome video which showed off the DX11 tessellation feature was running on a 560 GTX, because it's apparently one of the most widely owned cards among EVE players.

And like I said in the other thread, **** yes!
