Throw up a small POS. An amarr small (Cheapest Fuel Blocks) can fit 2 advanced labs, a caldari small 3. 80 mil for a POS, 80 mil for a regular lab, 120 mil for an advanced. Around 100 mil in fuel a month.

If your just looking to have your BPO's researched, contact Aria Moana from "Push Research and Development" Corp.

do you really trust me to hold onto your BPO?

on top of that, I would need you to cover the cost of the POS (proportional to how much of it you are using) plus a profit margin.

you prepared to do that?
you might be better off putting up your own POS

if i am in a research alliance with a dummy corp, nobody needs to hold my BPOs i can research them from corp hangar with scientific networking

/facepalm...

Think about it this way. When your BPOs are in the corp hangar who can come in and help themselves to them?

You have to trust the corp you are with to "hold" in some way the BPOs because the CEO, the Director, or any member with the correct rights can take them. At any time.

You can lock them down and still research them, and since he said in a Dummy Corp in an alliance, who's to say there's anybody else in there, or at least, anybody with roles that can unlock the BPO.

Locking doesn't stop items getting stolen, but it slows it down, and as long as you log in or check your mail/notifications daily then you'd be aware of it before they get the chance to grab them as they need to propose an unlock vote first.

I find it humorous that the OP, who is asking the questions, understands more about the topic than those responding so far. ;-)

1. Yes, your BPOs are safe if you use a RESEARCH alliance... you have the BPOs, not the Alliance.
2. OP said he would use a dummy corp do the research from, which is completely correct. "Dummy corp" usually means it's just the one guy that owns the BPO, and nobody else. Unless he has a split personality disorder and will steal from himself, he's at no danger.

And to the awesome toon above that "/facepalm", reading comprehension ftw. Cool

Even then he can steal it back again! So no real problem!

I guess the research alliances have/had some problems with extortion and war decs.
