Local transponder beacon

I got this idea from wormhole space, where the abscence of a local channel beacon doesn't allow you to see people in local.

So my idea was, make a module that allows you to have, and modify the loacl channel. If in 0.0 you would have to destroy the current local beacon, and then place your own. You would be able to set it up to not show blue's, or give some sort of warning if an enemy comes into the system.

I've always felt like there was more need for system upgrades once sov is owned. Th Ihub is a great start, but if you consider the things that can be done by NPC factions it's not alot. They can have gate guns and real stations etc.

Does anyone support this idea? or maybe has a better solution.
