Pretty much title.

I am looking to loan out up to 1b, preferably on short term loans of around a week but I am open to discussing longer term investments, especially if payments can be given in weekly increments

Interest will be discussed case by case depending on the size of the loan and other factors.

I will require collateral or some other proof of legitimacy.

You know, that's a mighty fine ship you have there. Majestic, powerful, huge... ah, yes, those huge ships could be a pain to walk around it. Ever noticed that it takes ages for you just to go from one end of your bedroom to the other? Now imagine trying to walk around your ship which is the size of a small moon, why, my ankles hurt even thinking of it!

Now if only you had some form of transportation, something faster than your piddly unaugmented legs... something sleek. Something stylish. Something... like a monorail.

Well, sir, there's nothing on earth

If you are in no hurry to invest, I could put you down as a potential investor in the next bond I do decide to run.

Interest rates have been 10% (so uncollateralized). I've ran multiple successful loans in the past and am currently running one at this moment for 5bn. If you want any further information regarding this feel free to ask.

You obviously do not watch The Simpsons. At least not enough :)

I hate to be the bearer of cruel news but having 1 billion isk to invest does not make you a mover and shaker of the world. However I can appreciate your misconception upon that. So, bearing that in mind, I agree that you should be very careful who you invest in however it would be fair to point out that there are few investments, worth all of your hoops, that are of such extremely short duration.

I have a piece of advice to give you that is widely applicable regardless of topic:

Read, then post.

I'm well aware that 1b is not a huge sum of money. Does that somehow invalidate me wanting to make sure the investment is secure?

I apologize for it is apparent I was unclear.

Read.

Then

Post.

If you'll read my post you'll see I answered your subsequent question. However if it is still unclear I can try to use even smaller words to help you along. Perhaps some sort of primal symbolic linguistics?

Ouch. Let's not be too harsh on new players coming to our forum Blink Although Shar is pointing in the right direction - hanging around for a week or two and getting to know posters is a good way to find your feet, if you have the time.

Look at you talking down to people like a pro. I wonder if you're this ballsy in real life? Or does the enormous gut and small stature get in your way?

Seriously, chill out a bit. MD is usually slightly less **** that the rest of the EVEO forums.

OP, stick to the fully collat. loan requests, everything else is a scam or a build up to a scam.

Damn nature, you scary!

Actually, yes.

You will find, if you look, that I always call it like it is without any reservation for anyone's, even my own, feelings.

Equally, I walk 2 miles every morning and lift about a 3 tons in weight daily.
(A fact I'm overly proud of I'm sure.)

Are you an Abercrombie model and own a Bugatti? Is your girlfriend a famous actress?

Is there any particular reason this thread has been hijacked into adhominem bonanza?

It's more likely because you've made yourself an easy target for ridicule.

Ha.

The substance of any statement I've made has not even been challenged. The attacks are juvenile attempts at personal ones. The inevitable outcome is a few moderator warnings, on their part, and I have a longer ignore list.
