and all i can scream is WHEN, that looks so much better than what we have, i mean it needs more work and more done i think, but its such a step up from what we have.... and since i didnt see the full keynote and cant find the roundtables records anywhere yet... i have to ask

Aside from the new drone stuff and being slightly different from the current interface, what is better about it?

A hopeful sign, question is though, are they redesigning the whole UI or just this bit?

Because the WHOLE LOT needs doing.

I was under the impression this was the Dust UI? I could very well be wrong though, I was only paying partial attention to the feed at the time.

I just want them to fix neocom and target/overview locking mechanism and shortcuts. Both are key elements in game and both have been upgraded with plenty of compromised solutions to avoid work to make them actually good for everyone.

They were fine back in the day, but stuff got added without researching why certain mechanisms should not be altered during the process.

It is funny how hard it is to get something done right in here when it comes to most important things.
