Since you babbies can't adapt without reading some sort of 'how 2 grief at eve' guide, consider this.

1. Steal critical mission item in innocuous ship and leave it in a can.

2. Mission runner has the option to take his item back at the risk of flagging himself to everyone for 15 minutes.

3. Cloaky ships

4. *************

5. Profit

Does anyone actually need to be told this? I thought it was clearly obvious to the most casual of observers.

EVE is EVE - Feaces will eventuate.

Looking at all the high sec whine threads I'd say so yes.

I wish I would've thought of this earlier. Up until now, it's been extremely difficult to achieve any kind of success with can-flipping because my corporations, along with their neutral RR support, have been utterly unable to contend with individual, highly-organized, competent, and pvp-savvy mission runners who decide to take back their items after they're flipped. Now that these mission runners will become flagged to everyone, we will finally be able to pool our collective resources, as well as have the on-the-spot capability to recruit neutral mercenaries for help, to take them down.

Thank you for opening my eyes. I will reverse my stance on this proposed change immediately.

I wrote some true EVE stories! And no, they're not of the generic "my 0.0 alliance had lots of 0.0 fleets and took a lot of 0.0 space" sort. Check them out here:

That's the Black Ops buff.

1) cloak in a random belt
2) wait for the miners to jetcan here
3) wait for a canfliper
4) uncloak
5) wtfbbqpwn'd
6) ????
7) profit.

1b hull and 1 year-skillplan, worth it.

And now from the bear's perspective:

1.) Grab mission item, hit Ctrl-Alt-q

2.) For 15 minutes makesammy, surfweb, hithead

3.) Log on, type "trollolololol" in Local

4.) ?????

5.) Profit!

Black ops work fine at the moment if you use them somewhere where their unique abilities are relevant.

I don't know why anyone in high sec would want one.

If you can't probe someone out in 15 minutes I feel sorry for you.

Serious answer : the widow is a nice rook with a bit more EHP (or a short-range scorpion for rich idiots). Yes it has nothing to do with the BO special abilities.
But nodoby wants to fly a widow or a rook (why ? Because of falcons Pirate ) so the point is moot.

From reading Grayscales's answers in the other thread I didn't get the impression that a "Suspect" flag would make you not disappear from the universe upon log-off. If you interpreted otherwise (or I missed one of Grayscale's answers) then let's hope you're right.

I'd hope that the suspect state, which technically means you are aggressed means you don't disappear until the timer is up. As you say though nothing is guaranteed about that at this time, I just imagine that the current aggression mechanic will roll over. Time will tell!

Frankly, any bear savvy enough to do this (presuming mechanics allow it) deserves to escape. The vast majority will have no clue.

If you think this is new, somehow different post-Crimewatch, or effective.....you can't be helped.

A) you can do this now. People rarely do anymore because....
B) it stopped being effective when the strategy was nerfed over a year ago. You know, when CCP started making mission items respawn rapidly, rather than at DT? Oh wait, you don't know, because you are talking about something out of your experience.

If anything, it will be far LESS effective with the new 'safety' plan for carebears.

Oh look, a yellow can in my mission space.

How did that get there?

Guess it means I should take it *<_< of eyes as local is checked >_> *

Yup, the coast looks clear.

And I am just going to....

Warp the **** off. God damn some people put to much ******* effort into even trying. Of course obvious trap is obvious as the other guy's lack of PVP experience he needs to bang on ships that are no challenge (really? have you ever seen an active tank fit PVE ship win in a fight? ) but in EVE its just a justification to show darwinism.

You ******* deserve to lose if you are an idiot that loots a yellow can and you are not spoiling for a fight.

You also deserve to lose your subcap ship to tracking titans and fighter bombers before their nerf, but these guys same guys that lost their ships to titan guns and super carriers whined were not "fair" as much as Lady Spank is trying to to prove that carebears whine. In the end, EVERY ******* HUMAN WHINES something is not fair, so Titans, Super Carriers, War Dec avoidance and aggression mechanics don't need to be changed all all...because EVE isn't fair and you deserve to whine and lose if you can't figure out how to adapt to when you lost your battleship to Titan guns or avoided your dec. You can always ******* shoot someone anytime / anywhere so long as they are not docked and not logged, so who gives a **** if Lady Spank belives CCP is making it easier for carebears since CCP has MADE IT EASIER FOR EVERYONE in the past months.

I am all for leaving EVE as harsh as it is supposed to be (like it was before Twisted), lets bring back Titan gun tracking and Super Carriers cause null pilots whined about it. Lets leave avoidance mechanics and logoffski as they were before the whining. Bring back insurance for ganks. Bring back extended agression mechanics by shooting a wrecks with a web. Everyone whined to fixe these things BECAUSE THEY ARE HUMANS WITH SELF ENTITLEMENT ISSUES. ****, I want to hear the whining from both sides of things that Lady Spank belives CCP did in favor of carebears, because CCP has done things for the whinebears in null and lulsec as well. I want to hear the whine of everything that is unfair, because BOTH SIDES have whined and its soooo arousing.

I find it funny that you are accusing someone of not knowing the mechanics of ninja looting mission items. The tears coming out of your corp/alliance today are just superb.
