Installer-Patcher Issues

I've been trying to fix the Installer/Patcher by re-downloading the game, but so far, that has not worked. I move the old files to Trash and Delete, as is proper on a Mac unit, but for some reason during the 'fixing' of the Patcher, something happens and it just plain stops, giving me a warning. This tends to happen around 5/7 of the fixes, so the installer shows me.

My machine is an older model, but is up-to-date with it's software, except EVE, and was using EVE on it until this last update, I would guess.
Any other Mac Users having issues like this? And if it can be helped, any dev's/mod's? If any information about my machine is required, I'll get it, for the moderators and developers.

Hi there, and thanks for taking the time to post here.

Is it the installer or the patcher that is failing? Your description is rather vague so it's hard for us to pinpoint the root of your issue. From the fact that you say it's failing on step 5 of 7 I am inclined to assume that you are referring to the initial startup after installation, where the client is attempting to update the launcher before starting up?

It would also be useful to know which version of the client you are using, the latest as of right now is here:

To answer: I would believe that it is the Patcher FOR the Launcher, the new window that has been put in the last major update. When it tries to patch and fix the Launcher, the launcher then stops working and gives an option to Terminate or open Terminal. Should the terminal-coding, that appears when I open Terminal, be needed, I would be glad to take another couple of hours to re-try the download to see if it will work.
