So using a 4-letter word in an acronym is ok, as long as you don't actually spell it out?

lol.

I'm not the chairman of the CSM and I'm not using it to compensate for rudimentary vocabulary.

I curse and swear, I'm not a hypocrite, but I do it to accentuate points of view and ideas and not as punctuation.

Realize that an insult is an insult. Using a 4 letter word or a 6 letter word, its still resorting to name-calling/childishness due to your lack of ability to form a valid argument against him. Just because you dress it up doesn't make it any less childish.

Theres another thread about certain people on the CSM being American and that's why they can't string a sentence together without swearing.

I don't completely agree with that, but here could be a grain of truth in it all, in that the educational system is in a BAD state in the US: 1 in 5 Americans don't know how to locate America on the world map ????? ROFL
And listen to the Bewildering answer from the "intelligent" Miss South Carolina:))))

PS ; Im not picking on Americans, just on their Government for the Education System there, Dr. Michio Kaku agrees with me on this;

Stop watching from the Bible belt and you'll be fine.

Oh words are not 'bad' per se - at least not in and of themselves, but their application and use (in a variety of contexts) are indicative of the maturity of the speaker, that speakers relationship with the audience, and a measure of the intellectual level of that relationship.

Most commonly the use of words that might be broadly accepted to be 'offensive' or 'vulgar' in a public setting would be recognised as reflecting either a desperate attempt to appear outside of any intellectual argument (and therefore part of the 'mass'), or to provoke genuine ire and displeasure from segments of an audience. Either way such an attitude is likely to be born of deep psychological insecurities on behalf of the speaker - possibly a fear or paranoia of being revealed as a 'fraud' and unable to generate articulate and reasoned thinking and then express it.

I personally think it owns that we have a game where those people with such insecurities and such a powerful desire to be 'accepted' by their peers are given an opportunity to speak in a public setting: where in most other environments they would be derided. Its like a care system for the socially stunted Big smile

This is what I wanted to say, in a simpler way, because you gotta keep things simple for those who swear a lot :))))

Fact is, he can speak however he likes to. Instead of us conforming to your standards, how about we force you to conform to ours? Your pompous attitude is disgusting and offensive and i demand you just say **** more often.

Cursing is the attempt by an infantile mind to express itself forcibly.

I had to write that 100 times on the blackboard when I got busted in highschool for saying sh*t. Funny how some things stick with you.

There is something broken within you if your reason to curse is a compulsory need to write something 100 times on a blackboard.

If I were you, I'd had that looked at.

Watching eve tv, the CSM part, with certain people remarking OVER AND OVER F*** this, F***ing that, I really have had enough of the verbal diarrhoea.

If you have such ABYSMAL self esteem, that you need to curse so that people think you're cool, it's actually the other way around, you're making disgrace of yourself and people will like you less, if at all.

Other than that, Keynote yesterday looked awesome Cool

If you think cursing and self esteem are related you have a serious ******* ego problem brought on by low self esteem coupled with rationalization.

The funny thing is I got a warning the other day for swearing in a public channel (Imperial Academy). Then again CCP have a habit of letting certain favourite people and corporations behave badly and get away with it so it's not surprising.
