The two are the same.
And "more wealth in Eve players" isn't a good thing, it's why there's konga lines of Titans and SC's at the top end, why T3 blobs are commonplace in the middle, and why T1 cruisers are completely useless at the low end. It's just gotten worse while I've been away for the last two years, or year and a half, with no change in sight. CCP ain't gonna do anything about it.

Personally I'd like to see all income sources, including my own, nerfed to hell and back.

I know players are abusing this feature and farming them but there has to be some time limit for christ sake!
Great job CCP!

I think CCP's big oversight was not that they didn't set a time limit, but that they didn't factor in that players would prefer to keep the incursion going. The reward for finishing it is the equivalent of tattling on kids at school and getting a gold star sticker to look at while you sit in detention with everyone else. There should be more incentive for players to hurry up and finish the site. Perhaps the reward should not only be great, but it might diminish over time. And the payout of the individual sites should diminish over time while their difficulty should gradually go up. In any case, the best rewards should be gained by stopping the incursion quickly.

On a somewhat related note, it's also why class 1 wormhole sites pay more than class 2, due to the extremely high demand of melted nanoribbons which are salvaged from sleeper frigates, as well as the extraordinary amount of money players are willing to pay to get these ribbons rather than just farm for them.
