Voting system for ideas forum

The needs a way to vote ideas up and down in these forums. The "like" system kind of does this but there's no way for us to sort by number of likes. And if there was there would need to be a way to "discard" ideas that have been implemented or been made irrelevant by changes to the game.
Not sure that I have a perfect solution so looking from suggestions from others. My suggestion would be to allow for users to sort the forum by number of like on a post. And after each patch have a moderator do a quick search and eliminate ideas that have been implemented.

Discuss please.

Are you suggesting that threads be sorted by likes within the forum or posts be sorted by likes in each thread?

Likes within the forum. The idea being to show how much support an idea has as a whole

I read the idea and thought, yea that should be put in...

Then I read the responses and thought, yea that's already a feature I guess...

so the issue here is... CCP needs to look at the forums, and use the ideas that get enough likes and responses on the threads.

Been suggested several times, but won't happen because pilots like Lujcan would feel bad because his ideas always suck. Just one example...

I think the OP is asking for a thumbs down as well as a thumbs up... I agree, but it should show the number of +1s and the number of -1s, rather than a total.

Should stop crap idea men thinking their idea is great because theyve called everyone who tells them its crap is a 'troll'.

Edit: Why the hell can I say crap but not re tarded?

i like this, have the column sort by net +/- but show the votes of both for and against
