My HD stream didn't even work, I resorted to watching the free one, same commercials, same drunk tossers trying to be funny and failing miserably.

you paid for a HD stream, you also got some ingame goodies....

Advice: if your HD stream failed for some reason, you need to restart it from account management page (https://secure.eveonline.com/Fanfest/HDStream.aspx) not by reloading page with player.

You pay for Satalite/Cable and you get ads all around the edges of your screen.
You pay to see/buy a movie, yet you get to watch product placements (Always CocaCola) in the middle of your movies
You pay to watch Nascar and the cars are still painted with ads.


The only thing you can do about it is boycot the companies that place intrusive ads.

Considering all the awesome free gear that Sony has given to FanFest's giveaways, and the cheap Iceland Air tickets, i think its fair that they throw some ads into the stream.

Besides, you're not paying for the content, you are paying for the upgraded quality of the same stream.
