Video Problem Monitor Shuts Off

ok heres my problem i have a geforce 8800gt card the problem i have is when im out on mining runs and this only seems to happen when im out on an astroid belt my pc monitor will shut off no error messages or nothing the monitor will shut off with no input message so i have to reset my pc i can be docked in a station all night and this wont happen as soon as im out mining this happens within 5 to 10 min has anyone but me have this problem

First thing you can try is turning off Anti Aliasing within the game for the time being.

I know that the roids had a problem with HDR + AA a while back and you never know but it could be the cause of your issue again.

If that doesn't work, you may try turning other graphical features off until it stops crashing and then switch them back on one by one till it crashes again.

Also making sure your card is not overheating would be good as well. HWInfo would help with getting temp readings as will a can of air for blowing out the cards heatsync.
